We stayed here 4 days and loved the location and the service, but the pricing was way out of line for the accommodations. The public rooms were wonderful, the food was very good, the service was excellent, however the rooms were not up to the standards of the cost. We have gotten much better value for equally priced hotels.

Dear Ray J,

I would like to thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Le Meurice on TripAdvisor.

I am glad to read that you did appreciate our public areas that have been renovated by Philippe Starck, the cuisine of Alain Ducasse as well as the services of our staff.

However, I am deeply concerned to hear that your bedroom did not meet your expectations. Please be assured that we pay a lot of attention to the quality of our product and I regret your deception.

Please do not hesitate to contact me directly for a future stay, I am sure that we will be able to find a room that matches with your expectations.

The Meurice is an elegant and great located hotel.
The rooms are spacious, the bathroom big, practical, perfect.
But the most important is the expectacular service we recieved from everybody!
The hotel personel were kind, helpful, always smiling and trying their best.
Perfect!

We stayed at Le Meurice in the spring of 2013. We had a gorgeous suite with 2 large bedrooms and a large living/sitting room (thanks to my friend Camilla who organized our trip!). The furnishings were beautiful and the rooms were immaculately clean with comfortable beds and excellent linens. The restaurant in the hotel was fabulous as was the service. In fact, all of the public rooms of the hotel are stunning and exactly as you would imagine a beautiful hotel in Paris would be - my 12 year old twin sons were in heaven! Also, the location is great you can walk to the Louvre and the Musee D'Orsee as well as the left bank. It is true that this place is expensive but they do deliver and if you want a very special place to stay while you're in Paris - this is it!

We stayed at Le Meurice for two nights and it was a wonderful place to stay - central, lovely rooms and really great food and service. We had a very relaxing time, and I would recommend it highly if you are there for a romantic break...
Expensive, but as a treat, it's perfect.

Room Tip: superior rooms are recommended

We have been at Le Meurice in fall 2012. We received a nice spacious superior room, with roses in the bedroom and orchids in the bathroom. The sink was broken and the Le Meurice fixed it without have being told to do it. It was nice to come back at night to this lovely hotel and pass by the pleasant crowd in the lobby. The scents in the corridors and entrance were a plus for the client experience. Very professional concierge, despite a small mistake in a restaurant reservation

You cannot do better in Paris than right across the street from the Tuileries gardens, a stone's throw from the Louvre, and a bridge away from the Left Bank. Add to this stunning public rooms, friendly and efficient service, and delicious food and drink. Yes, it is expensive, but Le Meurice delivers bang for your buck.

We spent 8 days at Le Meurice in Paris. This was our first time at the hotel. From our car to reception, all of the staff were warm and welcoming. After check-in we were escorted to our room which was elegant. Each day we were there, my wife and I joked that it couldn't get any better but it always seemed to improve.

We enjoyed Le Bar, which had excellent drinks and service. When we ordered something not to our liking, they kindly removed it from our tab despite it being our fault.

The service was excellent in other areas too. One night there was some noise coming from the floor above us. It grew very loud so I called reception. Within 2 minutes, I received a call back confirming that the issue had been dealt with and to call immediately if it happened again. There was also a follow up call to ensure there were no additional problems.

Each morning we were also greeted by the manager on duty to ask if everything was acceptable. It didn't seem compulsory. He and the staff seem to take a genuine interest in the guests' stay here.

This is not an inexpensive hotel but the staff, hotel and location have made it our hotel of choice when in Paris. We're already in the process of planning our next trip there.

Room Tip: Our room faced the interior courtyard. It was very quiet but the rooms on Rue de Rivoli have a beaut...
