Simply an amazing luxury experience! I felt like a French King. We had breakfast included and it was a great experience to dine in a crystal and gold ballroom while being served by a team of professionals. The prices are very steep here - you pay top Euro to be treated like a King or Queen.

Dear Bryan G,

Thank you so much for sharing your recent experience at Le Meurice on TripAdvisor.

I am truly thrilled to read how much you enjoyed your time amongst us and that you felt like a king within our walls. Not surprising you felt so in our restaurant as the room was built on the pattern of the “Salon de la Paix” of the Chateau de Versailles! Thank you of course for highlighting the professionalism of our teams. Please be assured that it will be my pleasure to share your kind words with our entire staff.

I hope that we will have the pleasure to welcome you back in the near future.

le meurice is a classic parisian luxury hotel-elegant, dressy and discreet. the staff is helpful and courteous, rooms are lovely and very comfortable, and the location cannot be beat. our two rooms overlooked the tuilleries and so the view was fantastic. bathrooms are large and gorgeous in that old-school, all-marble way. no detail has been overlooked
the location is perfect, with high-end shopping on faubourg st. honore nearby, and the louvre an easy walk away.
all of this comes with a sweet price, but when in paris, why not go for it?

Room Tip: spend a bit more and ask for rooms that face the gardens. you won't regret it!

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write such a positive review on TripAdvisor regarding your stay last December at Le Meurice.

We are delighted that you and your family enjoyed your rooms overlooking the Tuileries Garden. Thank you for highlighting their décor and comfort as well the charm of our spacious Carrara marble bathrooms.

It was a real pleasure to read your kind words about the authentic charm of the Hotel and about the helpfulness and courteousness of our staff. I was thrilled to hear you enjoyed staying in the heart of the Paris historical centre, two steps away from the most exclusive boutiques of the rue St Honoré and the fine jewelries of the Place Vendôme.

Thank you again for your kind comments. We look forward to seeing you in a not too distant future!

We had a lovely stay at the Meurice. Fabulous hotel, great location, wonderful service, beautiful rooms
Breakfast at 58 euros was a disappointment in both service and quality
Other than that, our stay was perfect and would highly recommend

I was lucky enough to spend a special birthday here and have to say I think it's one of the best hotels in the world! Fantastic service, beautiful rooms and definitely five star all the way. I cannot recommend it enough. The cocktails are delicious and breakfast is relaxing and nothing was too much trouble. Even though our party of 14 stayed during Paris fashion week we were still made to feel special!

Dear Lesley,

Thank you for your posting on TripAdvisor regarding your stay with us in March.

I am delighted to hear that our mission to make your birthday memorable was fulfilled and that we succeeded to make you feel special despite a very strong activity in the hotel during the Paris Fashion Week.

Saying that Le Meurice is one of your favorite hotels in the world means a lot to us. Kindly rest assured that your thoughtful words have been shared with all the staff. That you consider your guest experience better than ever, and that the service was fantastic is the most important compliment for us.

Thank you also for mentioning the famous cocktails of William and his team at the Bar 228 and the delicious and relaxing experience you had at breakfast in our fine dining room every morning.

I look forward to meeting you on a future visit!

Since Le Crillon and the Ritz are closed for major renovations, my wife and I have been scrambling. Last fall we tried the Westin, which is next door to le Meurice, and we enjoyed it largely because of the spectacular view.

Le Meurice has the same view, but it is true luxury class hotel. We got the stay two nights get one free deal, so it made the cost bearable.

Reception personnel were very helpful, moving us to a front room as soon as it was available.

Room Tip: Never take the first room they show you, either here or any other hotel in the world.

Simply the best hotel in the world for style . The four seasons in hong kong is excellent, so are the dorchester and the westbury hotels in london outstanding . But the meurice is something very special . The restaurants , the bar , the spa all very good . However it's the style and the staff that make it unique .
The Ducase dining experience , whilst not cheap was a great experince . the concierge guys were tremendous ,really helpful ,very professional .
We liked the room but would get a larger one next time . The ambience of the hotel just perfect .It was the best place to celebrate a special anniversary .

We stayed at Le Meurice at the end of our 5 year wedding anniversary trip to Cannes and Paris. We are younger (in our early 30's) and from the moment we entered the hotel, we were treated like royalty. I absolutely HATE that I cannot remember the name of the beautiful and elegant woman who checked us in, but she was one of the loveliest people I have ever met in the service industry. She noted our anniversary and immediately checked to see if there was an upgrade available. She upgraded us to an unbelievable room....one of the three that has double doors that open onto a small Juliet balcony overlooking the Tuileries Gardens and with a spectacular view of the Louvre. Not only was the room and the bed incredibly luxurious, but the huge bathroom made completely of white marble was just breathtaking. We mentioned that we were going to go out and do some sightseeing and when we returned, there was a very nice bottle of champagne waiting for us on ice! We could not have asked for a better experience on the eve of our actual anniversary.

The only minor issue with the hotel was the breakfast. The pastries were delicious as one would expect, but the eggs were pasty and it was my least favorite breakfast during our trip. Ours was complimentary, but it would have been a disappointing breakfast had we paid for it.

Upon check out, we had the same lovely woman as before. We noted we were traveling to Versailles to the Waldorf property and she personally got us a cab and thanked us for our stay. Truly excellent service (and personalized as she addressed us by name the entire time) and I will return in the future as this was simply outstanding.
