The cathedral is nice and quite. The rose windows are really beautiful. Also the three enrances which depict the legend is nice. Just for information in 2013 the cathedral will be 850 years old.

Ticked this off our "to do" list, and wasn't disappointed. Worth the wait to climb up the tower for some great views of Paris. The alfresco interiors were well detailed and fairly well preserved. Amazing to see, even if you are not religious.

The church is beautiful on the inside, but if you go. . .you have to climb the tower! Get there early or you will stand in line forever.

Highly recommended cathedral in Paris. It is free to visit unless you want to go up the narrow steep STAIRS to the Bell Tower. It is beatiful inside though mush smaller than St Pauls Cathedral in London. So if you are interested in the Hunchback of Notre Dame and realtively fit and not affraid of hights, I recommend you go up to the bell tower. Go as early as possible. We waited in line for 3 hours as they only allow a certain amount of visitors in at 30-45minute intervals. From there you can see a limited view of Paris skyline.
