For a person who loves Monet's art this is a must. It is easy to reach by metro and no need to wait in line for getting in. There are lots of other great paintings too and the place itself is very beautiful.

this museum was formerly the private residence of a collector. it is filled with empire furnishings and an impressive collection of, inter alia, Monet's work, including a number of large studies of water lilies in his Giverny garden. the walk to the museum from the metro station is through a very pleasant park. the visit made for a most enjoyable half day.
Musée Marmottan-Monet Monet is very nice place. If you are Monet lover you must visit this museum. The Monet exhibition is magnificent. It is so calm place where you can enjoy Monet’s painting not disturbing of crowded tourists. You can spend a lot of time standing in front of the painting and enjoying Monet’s world. The museum is situated in very nice neighborhood in Paris.I strongly recommend this place!
Interesting to see, a very nice building and nice design but if you dont have a lot of time, maybe you should spend it somewhere else
The Marmottan Is one of the best kept secret in Paris. While thousands of tourists elbow their way through the more famous museums to take annoying selfie’s in front of famous paintings that you can’t get close to, you can have a serene and personal experience with a large collection of Monet paintings at this fantastic museum.
In addition to the extensive Monet collection that was gifted by his family, the mansion hosts an eclectic and fascinating collection of priceless art and artifacts dating back to the fifteenth century.
The Marmottan isn’t too far from Trocadéro by metro. The park setting and sense of privacy is a welcome relief to Paris’ other crowded museums.
I visited this on my 4th visit to Paris as I wanted to see some of the lesser-known museums in Paris. It is located right across from a park and it was great fun to sit and watch children play as I waited for my daughter to get tickets. The art of Berthe Morrisette was featured when I visited and it was wonderful. I would highly recommend this attraction.
