Museum located near neighborhood park. Close to public transportation as are most things in city. This is not a large museum but there are some very nice pieces. Especially for a Monet fan. Interesting that many Impressionists knew and painted each other and their families. The piece wanted to see was out on loan, but still enjoyed the visit. An interesting temporary exhibit on light.

An easy 20 minute walk from the Seine, this houses a fabulous collection of prominent Impressionist art, well worth the stroll. Monet, Renoir, Marist and a host of others will charm you, especially many Giverny pieces by Monet. Multi language headphone commentary a plus. Quality gift shop will help you share your experience with folks back home.

We really loved the collection of this small museum as well as the museum itself which is a beautiful old home. Not as crowded as the Musee D'Orsay and actually has more Monets.
