Small place. A bit far from everything. 15 minute walk from the nearest Metro. Not covered by Museum Pass.

Good permanent collection of works by Monet and Renior. Plus one very good portrait by Manet. Also has a changing temporary exhition - currently its Marie Laurencin. Toilets but no cafe. Often descirbed as being out of town but the nearest metro station is La Muette (line 9) which is only two stops from Trocadero and 5 from Franklin D Roosevelt.

This was actually my favorite museum visit in Paris this trip. It is located in a grand old Parisian Home in a lovely neighborhood. We found it was mostly Parisians that were frequenting this museum. The Monet's were varied and beautiful. The Lauriencien exibit was also wonderful.

not many people know about this museum, if you have time and saw the biggest muesums in paris it is definately worth seeing. There were app 10-15 works of monet, very good, a lot of waterlilies but not only, I was impressed, although thought the museum would be bigger. I also like the building a lot - old appartment house, the staff was very unhelpful though, especially the man in the cloak room, maybe so proud to work in a place in which he ca see works of monet everyday :)

Great location, small museum. Wonderful displays. Mostly Monet, but Monet in Paris is ok. Great walk to find it.
