The "behind the scenes" tour was informative & interesting. Lawrence (from memory) our English speaking guide was most professional.
Unfortunately the rain and mist dimmed our view, though we were able to take a number of photos of the closer area's of Paris. A good experience, plus the added bonus of "jump the queue" to enter. Well priced.

I visited the Eiffel Tower in December, 2010 and May, 2013. My experiences are different from each other. During the winter in Paris, the weather is usually foggy. Therefore, there is no meaning in visiting Eiffel. You can't see anything. Do not buy your ticket online to skip the line if you are visiting Paris in winter. First, you should see the weather condition in Paris. However, if it is spring or summer, you can buy your ticket online to skip the line or you can wait for aprox. 1 hour to arrenge your time. The view from the top is just great. No matter how hot the weather is in Paris, you should have sweater in your bag because the wind is really cutting. You wait for the elevator in the open area. Peopel say the best time to visit Eiffel is just before getting dark, so you can see the view before sunset, during sunset and after sunset.

Arrive early! we got there at 08h30 and stood in a very short queue. had great coffee and Croque Monseur's at the base. chatted in the line with friendly people.

Went to 2nd level, and the children then took the lift to the top.

Walk around, absorb everything, and realise how special the place is.

It was everything I had hoped for.

To avoid the queues we walked to the first level with an option to go to level two. £5 per adult £3.50 for a youth good value for money as most attraction are a lot more than that.

We queued for half an hour but the lifts were about one and half hours.

Educational and great views. Just a dream come true. Great value for money and a great thing to do.
