A beautiful collection of Impressionism paintings. Not as crowded as the Louvre, but I still recommend skip the line tickets. A favorite art museum of mine.

The Reserved Ticket Access is really the best if you have trouble walking. The D'orsay has MULTIPLE LEVELS and does have Escalators and Elevators but the Reserve Ticket gives you a "headstart" to see all the wonderful (and different) things to do and see. This is THE Paris Musee' to see - truly reflects the Paris Influence on Art. Obviously the Impressionist Painters are featured (like Vincent Van Gough) but the D'Orsay is more than that. Check out the City of Paris Model (under a clear floor so you can see it in a Birds-Eye View) with the Center being the Opera' Garnier (of course). Rodin Sculptures like the Gates of Hell, the Statue of Liberty, "Man in the Moon" French Movies exhibit, even the Chat Noir Theatre exhibit - A Spoiler Alert for you; one of the Restaurants inside has one of the iconic Monster-sized Clocks of the Train Station in it (makes for a GREAT talking point and Selfie). Its pricey but you already knew that. Another Spoiler Alert is that THE iconic Monster-sized Train Station Clock (the one you saw in the movie "Hugo") is available on the Upper Floor to take an Outrageous Selfie with - we're talking Instagram moment here. Visit the D'Orsay to see the REAL Paris Art Museum. It's got SO MUCH TO SEE! We tried to post pictures of "other" art inside along with the "biggies" like Van Gough "Starry Night". Don't miss out on your Trip of a Lifetime to Paris.

The interior of the museum is almost as impressive as the art work itself. With the museum housed in the railway station, it's enjoyable just walking around the open venue. We only did the Impressionist section because we were just too exhausted. Best to buy skip-the-line tickets through tour so you don't have to wait in long lines.

We went there not quite knowing how good it would be. Brilliant.
Paintings were stunning. Stayed a lot longer than we anticipated.
