Owner description: This beautiful museum, once a railroad station, now houses a staggering collection of Impressionist art, as well as other items created between 1848 and 1914. In 2011, the museum is running a renovation of the top floor (impressionist gallery). Only ground and medium floor are accessible. The top floor will re-open on the 20th of October. Meanwhile, some impressionist masterpieces are not visible.

Top floor has all the impressionist work which was enjoyable and not a lot of walking. The sculptures and furniture selections weren't that impressive, but then I didn't choose the audio commentary which I'm sure brought things to life a bit more. It was raining and we had a baby with us, the line was about 30 minutes long and the nice guards let us right through which was kind. Not too expensive either, under 50 for two adults.

Beware of the long lines here when the Louvre is closed...but the 5th floor is fantastic and the art work a must see.

If you like impressionist art then you absolutely must go. The RER C Train line stops just underneath making it very easy to visit (same line that takes you to Versailles)

This was an interesting experience. I'm not much of a art lover, but the reviews i had seen were mostly good, so i thought i would give in a try. It was crowed, but it was raining the day i visited. I loved the dynamics of the place and it was easy to see why so many people love the place. I would recommend it as the diversity of the art work and sculptures was mind blowing
