“A must!”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

This is a gorgeous little museum with a beautiful garden, strewn with sculptures and little hideouts, you can sit there for hours after your visit and be inspired. There is a temporary exhibition added every few months and it was a great surprise addition (photographer Maplethorp) This museum is especially good for those who are overwhelmed by the big, daunting ones. It is also neighbor to the less touristy Army museum which is also quite beautiful and interesting. Varenne metro is right there and some buses go there as well. Loved it, and I am not necessarily a Rodinist, though am familiar with some of his work, which says a lot about the place. There is a convenient locker room and in general great informative service. Completely accessible for disabled visitors.

“Rodin”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

The Rodin Museum is a hidden gem in the heart of Paris...a garden filled with his original bronze sculptures of massive impact and proportions. like THE THINKER..His GATES OF HELL based one Dante's Inferno are incredible....his home is filled with the delicate, fine marble sculptures that are so opposite in composition from the powerful outdoor pieces...

“Beautiful house and garden filled with beauty”
Reviewed July 28, 2014

Booked tickets online and skipped the line. Great as it was hot. The photography of Mapplethorpe worked very well with Rodin's sculptures. Fascinating sculptures throughout, great curator. An absolute must visit when in Paris. The gardens are beautiful spent 4 hours there.

“Beautiful works”

Garden is well worth the price. Many pieces are fun to photograph, and you can even get a good shot of 'Le Penseur' with the ET in the background!

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

The Musee Rodin is in a beautiful building surrounded by gardens with many of Rodin's work. There is great history to the building and how the museum came about. If you are interested in this artist or sculptures in general well worth a visit.
