What a great combination, wonderful sculpture and a lovely garden. This is a place to relax. I did want to reach out and touch some of the sculpture.

This is another gem of a museum within Paris. They are closed on Mondays. If you are looking for Rodin's "Thinker" the original/smaller statue is located inside the museum. The larger statue is located outside. "The Kiss" is stunning and a must see!k

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting the Musee Rodin during our recent visit to Paris. While the marble sculptures within the temporary exhibit at the museum are breathtaking, the bronze sculptures in the museum's garden best reflect Rodin's genius . From The Thinker, to Balzac, and the Gates of Hell, his mastery of the medium as well as his astonishing talent are on display for all to enjoy. I strongly recommend taking the time to visit this small museum. You won't regret it.

Very quiet little museum and garden with a big punch. The sculptures were beautiful and the cafe was a wonderful surprise. The food was great and it was on the edge of the gardens with a wonderful view of the estate. We were pleasantly surprised.

We went to Musee Rodin our first day of our trip, and we found it closed inside. We thought it was because it was late in the day -- we got there about an hour before closing -- but someone on a Paris discussion board said that it's closed inside for renovation. Not sure when it will re-open. Our favorite part is the garden anyway, and since we were traveling with our 6 year old granddaughter, she enjoyed being outside. This year it wasn't as warm as in previous years, so the roses weren't blooming, but we still loved walking in the garden. For those who don't realize it, one can walk in the garden without going inside for a mere 1 Euro. It's an amazing museum, with a lovely garden, that we return to each time we go to Paris.
