Owner description: Located in this 18th-century hotel (Hotel Biron), Musee Rodin holds an impressive collection of works by this famous French sculptor and his circle as Camille Claudel. The museum also features an exquisit garden and a temporary exhibition hall.

The drawcard here is, of course, Rodin's 'Le Penseur' (The Thinker).Having so said, however, his other works are brilliant and I very much liked 'The Kiss' and 'Cathedral'. The grounds are gorgeous (even in Winter) and it was a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

Very nice small museum that exhibits Rodin sketches! Really enjoyed the exhibition! Though is better to visit the museum on a sunny day as the garden is very sweet.

In September 2012, I went to Paris to celebrate my 50th birthday. During my visit I went to the Musee Rodin. WOW!!!! Sums it up. While like most people I was familiar with Rodin and The Thinker but there was so much more to this place then I imagined. It is set in beautifully manicured grounds with sculptures all around the gounds. A great sitting area to view the rear of the Musee and gardens, a place to have a quiet snack or beverage. It was a beautiful sunny day to spend roaming the grounds. The inside exhibits were fascinating as well. I will no doubt return on my next trip to Paris.

I thought it was completely boring apart from the gardens. You aren't allowed to take any pictures at all which kind of sucks as you'd want the memories.

There are several small museums in Paris honoring specific artists. This is one of our favorites. Wonderful gardens full of sculptures with smaller and other works inside. We visit this every time in Paris.
