“A Secret Green Haven in the middle of Paris”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

Located in an old house [mansion] where Rodin worked in his latter life, this is a huge collection of his works. The museum is an easy size to see all without tiring and the garden with its sculptures is a haven.
The restaurant food was cafeteria like but of very high quality and great service [with a smile![

“If you like sculpture this is the place”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

All the art/sculpture, the old hotel, the gardens, all donated by Auguste Rodin to France (which they begrudginly accepted!). Wow, very impressive place, and great place to hang out in when it's sunny in one of the garden areas reading a book. Small onsite cafe as well...add this to your list of must see's, 5 minute walk from Invalides and Napoleon tomb, 3 min walk to Varenne metro station.

“The Garden of Rodin is excellent!”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

my favorite part is the display of Rodin's work in the garden. Also a wonderful collection of roses near "The Thinker". A must-see place!

I really really enjoy this museum. Honestly it's more like a park since much is outdoors. Also, as I feel it's easy to get bored of museums this is a good one since it's not too huge. But I think the best part of it is that not only are you viewing Rodin's sculptures but it's on a backdrop that includes the gold dome of the Invalides and from many areas the Eiffel Tower. Lots of good picture opportunities.

Pick a sunny day and enjoy the beautiful gardens, and well as the museum. Should be on must do list for Paris
