“More than just Rodin”

While there are plenty of great works by Rodin on display, there are Matisse and Van Gogh paintings in Rodin's former home. Also, the gardens are a joy to walk around in and escape some of Paris's hustle and bustle.

“Charming Musem with Beautiful Gardens”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

We visted Musee Rodin on a recent trip to Paris. It is quant and doable in a hour or so and because the pieces are primarily Rodin's, it's a much more focused experience. Several sculputers are outside in the gardens. I would recommend going on a day when you can enjoy the outside exhibits and gardens.

A leisurely stroll through the exhibits and gardens on an overcast day with no crowds proved to be a lovely experience!

This is my favorite Paris thing but the hotel museum building and much of the gardens are closed for the next year

“Perfect tour”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

I didn't know what to expect and I was pleasently surprised. Rodin was a man of many talents. I really liked the fact that he lived here. His works, both art and sculpture were displayed throughout the house in a continuous way. He was a man of many talents. The famous thinker is outside as is the Gates of Hell in a beautiful garden. A must see.
