Very tasty Hungarian food ( you must try the stuffed cabbage or the morel risotto which are amazing). For the wine, do not hesitate to taste the Hungarian one. Service is friendly and cheerful. You must eat on the terrace during summer ! Love this place

“A lovely find in the 9th”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

We'd had coffee on the terrasse a few times on one of our long walks from the Marais to Montmarte but it was never the right time for dinner. Last night Le Paprika was our destination and we weren't disappointed. We had moulinade de poulet, nappée de sauce « paprika » 10 to start followed by the goulache de veau servie au choix avec nokedli et choux sicule 17 and the wienerschnitzel : escalope panée comme à vienne (wie im wien) 17. It was all excellent and served by a energetic team -- brothers? friends? partners? Looking forward to returning for a night of music as well.

“Gem of Montmarte”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

LE PAPRIKA caters to all original cuisine and ambiance lovers! I've lived in the Montmartre area for nearly 5 years now and it is difficult to find a restaurant in this highly-touristic area that isn't pretentious or overly-priced. Le Paprika is ideal for a night out with friends, as they often have live Tzigane music, or for a more intimate dinner, this will also be accommodating. The simple, yet classic decor adds and element of authenticity. The staff is always attentive and eager to help make your experience enjoyable. They also value regulars, which again, is a rarity in this area of Paris or any area of Paris for that matter. The little extras go a long way and this restaurant has mastered that aspect.

“One Not to Miss”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

We came upon Le Paprika whilst looking for a different restaurant which had been recommended in the Lonely Planet. Unfortunately, the recommended restaurant had closed down and we came upon Le Paprika, a touch of serendipity. We visited the restaurant twice, which is recommendation in itself. There are two menu options to chose from, Hungarian and French. The first time we visited we both tried the Hungarian menu and had the Veal Goulash, with cabbage and mini dumplings, which was absolutely delicious. The second time we visited my husband had the French menu which again was fabulous. The service was second to none, with excellent friendly english speaking staff who advised on the menu and gave a description of each dish. They made you feel as though you were VIPs. Luckily when we went to Paris we had really good weather and was able to sit outside in the restaurant. White, crisp table linen was set at each table, including linen napkins. For three courses, two bottles of wine, finishing with a coffee and cognac the bill came to 130 Euro. We considered this to be excellent value for the service and food we received. Should we visit Paris again in the future, we will certainly make our way back to Le Paprika.

“Overpriced yawn”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

We stopped here randomly for dinner one night. We were excited to see the Hungarian menu. The service was decent. The food was edible, but it was not great. The only thing remarkable about this restaurant really, was the bill.
