We decided to try Chez Gabrielle as it was right next to our hotel Renaissance Arc de triompe and had great reviews on Trip advisor. It was by far the best meal/restaurant experience we had in Paris. We had the Foie Gras, Scallops and Veal along with a lovely Sancerre white wine. Make sure to get a reservation as it seems to be a popular restaurants amongst the locals and they only have limited tables. Great service, fresh ingredients and amazing experience. Highly recommend and thanks to the other reviewers that tempted us to try it.

Staff was very friendly, food was absolutely amazing. I hope the will get Michelin star... I had much worse food in one star restaurants. Definitely Must if you stay around. And try Châteauneuf-du-Pape!

By no fault of Parisian cuisine but entirely by the sensory overload of great duck, beef and poultry in general, we were so happy to have ate here the last night before flying back. The style of cooking is more modern, fresh ingredients with some fusion elegance.
The place is located off the main road and some 8 min from the metro station. We admired the arch de triumph view as we walked to and for the restaurant.
We arrived on time for our reservation, And was immediately served fresh salmon on cucumber bread as a greeting from the kibchen.
We had the famed st Jacques - mussels ; very good quality and delicious but somewhat overshadowed by the seabream with seated mango and passion fruit coulis. This was easily one of the best fish dishes every for us anywhere!
Fois gras with cherry was good but can't be compared to
Quality of Au Petit Sud Quest where we had the pleasure to dine before.
For dessert, we asked the servers help to choose one for sharing and she brought a lovely bowl of soft chocolates which we walloped as it was so good. House wine was also more than ok. Bill came to less than €80, for this quality if food very reasonable.
Our minor discomfort was what noted from other reviews; it can get hot in summer inside with no AC, so choose your seat wisely if possible.
We will hopefully return one day and try more dishes.

Close to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, this 30-seat restaurant (booking is necessary) serves a nice French cuisine, using prime quality products. Reasonable prices, given the quality (EUR 250 for four people, including a bottle of Figuet champagne and an excellent bottle of red Burgundy Chorey-les-Beaune 2008). Excellent cod, delicate deep sea scallops "au Noilly Prat". The atmosphere is nice but not exceptional. Service by the hostess is fine, her husband Philippe being the "Chef". The food almost deserves a Michelin one-star rating. Worth a nice dinner.

As promised in our review of April 6th, we came back, this time for mother's day. And it was as delicious as the first time!
We really appreciate the efforts made by the cook to offer such high quality freshly made meals at such a great price for the area (40ish euros for a 3 course meal)
We also had the pleasure to have a chat with Nathalie, the hostess, always so thoughtful, who remembered us and knew about our review on tripadvisor!
Given that we loved so much our first meals, we nearly took the same choices this time again. I guess that we'll give us another good reason to come back again ;)
