We have eaten at Le 27 Gourmand many times over the past dozen or so years and have never been disappointed. Whilst the food is simple it is prepared with some skill and care. The Patron & his wife are most friendly and are most willing to assist you to negotiate the menu's or carte, although should you require it, English, Spanish and other languages are offered. Having eaten there once, or sometimes twice a year, it is always a pleasure to be recognised from one's previous visits, quite endearing.
Whilst this restaurant is a little way from the main tourist areas, being situated on the edge of Batignolles, between Place de Clichy and another of my fave places, Parc Monceau, it is still worth making a visit. It is in no way Haute Cuisine, but still worth a visit for good food at a good price.
