On a wet and blustery evening, we were walking through the Marais after visiting the Pompidou centre needing some food, It was 10pm on a Saturday. We noticed the discreet sign and fact that the restaurant had no windows. I commented that any restaurant with 'Dome' in the name would be expensive! There was a queue in the lobby and smart bouncer and maitre'd. We walked round the block but came back here and they were happy to give us a table for two at 10.30pm! Nice One!
The menu was varied, a lot of people going for the lamb shank. My partner went for the Salmon, I had Scallops. No starter as bread was provided with an amuse bouche on arrival. Very nice, well presented not too much attention or too long to wait. Extremely comfy chairs. Super cool atmosphere, beautiful domed ceiling, nice clean toilets, cool background music and lighting, locals only type of feel. 70 Euros for two with a bottle of wine.. Recommend for a special meal on a Paris visit. Dress smart to feel included. I think American style leisure wear and trainers would be left standing at the door!!!
