This group is trying to do something different. First off it is hard to find... a very small street and it is rue Laplace [wrong on tripadvisor]. The service is exceptional. Lot of gourmet gifts from chef... just keep coming. The bread is exceptional... would have liked olive oil or butter with it. The fresh bread sticks are made there [hazelnuts] - good attempt but overdone. The first course was imaginative [lamb ravioli]. Would suggest you share first course. The second course we had the veal and it was over the top both in cooking method, presentation and results. One of the best I ever had. Dessert was a deconstructed Tiramisu. They put a lot of effort into the meal... but this is not a traditional Italian restaurant. Small place - maybe 25 occupancy. Good wine list.. prices little high. This is more of an experience... and would recommend it.

After a long day of walking thru Paris we decided to treat ourselves with a nice dinner.
I must say this was not just a nice dinner! The staff at Ciasa Mia kept surprising us plate by plate! Just exquisite, the presentation was amazing and the taste... OMG we enjoyed every single bite!
We had the frog legs and the calamari as starters. Then we ordered rabbit and the swordfish as main dishes.
We also had a bottle of red wine recommended by the owner.
To top the night... I had the best tiramisu ever and my girlfriend the best pannacotta!
Everything in this place is just right from decor to ambiance to service...
If you are just looking for ordinary food, skip this place and eat somewhere else. But if you are looking for fine cuisine and a great dining experience the you must visit Ciasa Mia!

This restaurant is pricy and the food is not at the same level. It has the sticker of AMEX though at the time of asking for the check and trying to pay with AMEX card, they ask having consumed over Euro 120. The version of Tiramisu is avoidable. Service is very good.

We came in from the rain to a cozy room. The hostess offered us a towel to dry ourselves and a warm cloth for our hands. We ordered two appetizers and one main dish to share. Unlike other restaurants who seem put out if each person does not order several courses, they happily brought our order and split the main dish for us. We received two small dishes compliments of the chef. One, a raw egg yolk with truffle oil and salt, was beautifully presented on a large spoon and was delicious. The staff was warm and friendly and the food and presentations delightful.

We visited here on Christmas Eve 2012. Fortunately we booked it in advance of our arrival, it's a very busy, intimate, quaint restaurant. The staff are so attentive and helpful. Our waitress explained the menu choices and give us a lot of helpful advice. The food ..... all I can say is that the food was a true italian experience. Allow plenty of time to savour each course. I would strongly recommend you make a point of paying this little restaurant a visit, you'll not regret it!!
