Went as a group of 6 on saturday night in August, warm welcome on reservation (necessary) by charming Italian waitress.
We had two marvelous amuse gueule which made us think dinner was going to be fun and tasty.
Service is uneven: the young woman is pleasant whereas the man is quite incompetent ( cannot explain the food + forgot my order of an extra Evian bottle+ bumped three times into my chair during dinner) AND the pace is very slow, no rhythm to the dinner.
Two appetizers were off the mark : the potato tartelette was a glob of mess in the plate, the chanterelle "meringue" consisted of a foam of egg white with overcooked mushrooms . The duck carpaccio was too thick, and had a salty peanut base, it made so gustative sense.
The burnt soup was delicious and the langoustine and artichoke tempura was well executed but nothing to write home about.
5 of us took the pasta entrée du jour a thin spaghetti with chanterelle and white truffle : we were really disappointed : the pasta was overcooked and too salty and the truffle had a nice smell but no taste . the person who took the beef cooked in salt enjoyed it.
We did not stay for desserts, because unwilling to be adventurous and we were there three hours. By then the service had lost attention to our table .
With wine it came to 75€ per person plus tip
