“Simply AMAZING dining experience! Food & service off the charts!”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

Wait staff was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, helpful, kind, personable & charming!
Food was the most creative, tasty, interesting, flavorful, well presented & just plain old FANTASTIC!
We started w/a poached egg served over toast, onion, wine gravy, shaved black truffle & mushrooms... Delightful!
Main course is hard to describe - veal throat - it was served over a special mushroom (can't recall species) it was crispy on outside - tender inside - marvelous flavor/texture!
Also had pork cheeks - incredible! w/a gravy over mashed potatoes w/fried banana! Again - unusual & wonderful!
Waiter Malek - my favorite! Sebastian equally amazing!!!

“very good choice around St Sculpice/Left Bank”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

Had dinner during 5 day stay in Paris.
Small intimate restaurant with very good food and atmosphere. Was expecting more based on reviews from TA. Some negatives are- very busy place with waiters running like crazy and not giving enough attention to the guests, very tight quaters and noise level that to much for intimate atmosphere, wine selection is good, but not great. Excellent price/ quality ratio, and overall a solid, but not outstanding choice.

“Fantastic food”
Reviewed September 21, 2013 via mobile

Had an amazing dinner with my husband for our anniversary here. They offered to translate the menu, all food looked and tasted sublime. Only reason they didn't get five stars was service got a bit distracted at times and long delays sorting drinks however they were apologetic and extremely friendly. Would definitely go again and easy to book online from the UK. Thank you Pouic-Pouic!

“Certainly not a top 100 restaurant in Paris”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

I took a group to Pouic-Pouic and expected a great experience based on all the reviews. Unfortunately I cannot express the same. Yes, the environment is nice, small and intimate, and the staff is quite friendly and engaged. But the quality of the food and wine was definitely mixed at best. Most of the dishes were simply adequate...and quite a disappointment based on the price and reputation. The wine in particular was disappointing as they claim to be a "wine restaurant" but the quality of their best wines was subpar. I think you would be better served going to one of the local brasseries.

“First class meal, but make sure you book.”
Reviewed September 18, 2013 via mobile

We ended up having our final night in Paris at this great little restaurant. We had the degustation menu which was really good value and included six courses with beetroot ravioli, seared tuna, and a sixty three degree egg with truffles amongst others. It also included the signature desert which was first class pastry! All this was fifty euro each.

It's well worth booking this also as it was full by about 8pm on a Tuesday and the waiter was turning away diners.
