One of the most attractive places all year round, without waiting queues and for all ages, even the music inside is more than relaxing...some aquariums have comfortable seats to lay down and "dive" into an ocean ...another world, name it as you like, but it certainly is a place not to miss..

My 20 year old daughter really wanted to see the Aquarium so we were near the Eiffel Tower and decided to check it out. It was a really hot day so it was nice to go in and walk around in the dark and see all the sea life on display. We made it through all the exhibits in less than an hour. The show looked pretty cool, with a mermaid, but it was so crowded and we couldn't understand that we just moved on through. I would not have paid to visit, but since it was included with our Paris Pass, we saw it. Probably great for families with small children.

The Aquarium is located at walking distance from the Eiffel tower. The facility has several shark species (great white, blue shark, hammerhead shark, whale shark and at least one more) in a large water tank with views from several sides. A whole section is dedicated to jellywish and its various species. This place is worth a visit.

The acquarium was one of the places we could visit with our Paris Pass and our adult children (no option to choose that on the review page) wanted to go....so we did. It was a somewhat warm day, so it was nice to be in out of the heat. We were quite entertained with the multiple varieties of fish. Unfortunately, the presentation you can sit and watch was only in French, so we did not stay for that. Being able to walk through a glass tunnel in the center of the shark tank was quite interesting. I think the hammerhead shark was our favorite.

Built in 1867, the Aquarium de Paris is the first aquarium built in the world. It is located between the Trocadéro and the Seine and the tour extends for 3500m² under the ground. It has a tank dedicated to the Polynesian ecosystem containing 750 corals and a large basin inhabited by 38 sharks of seven different species. Negative point is the purchase of tickets online (20.50€ each and we were 4): at the entrance the hostess had no system to verify that we had bought them. She gave us the email address of the reception and we had to send an email with our digital tickets. Only after they have received them they let us in.
