We stayed at this hotel in May 2013 and enjoyed a wonderful visit to Paris. The hotel staff is superb, from helping us plan dinners and outings before we arrived, and dealing with everything from museum passes, boat ride tickets, local brasseries and nearby grocery stores.
The setting is lovely - - small and intimate -- no big lobby with lots of people hanging out here. The food was superb, in the small restaurant, the bar and room service.
The location is convenient to the Kleber station on Line 6, or the Charles de Gaulle Etolle station for lines 1, 2 and 6.
Our only knock, which is hardly unique to any Paris hotel of any vintage, is the occasional room-to-room noise from our neighboring guests, especially above us. Not a major issue, but it did keep us from sleeping in, even after the trip from LA and the 9 hour time difference.
On balance, we would stay there again in a heartbeat, but ask for the top floor if available.

Room Tip: Seek a high floor, the top floor if you can get it.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions regarding your recent stay at the Villa Hotel Majestic.

We are really thrilled to read that you thoroughly enjoyed the warm and attentive service as well as the intimate atmosphere of our boutique hotel. This is nice to learn that you loved our food. If you come back in the summer, you should definitely try our new menu served on the terrace, where the Chef cooks on the grill right in front of you, I’m sure you would love it.
We are sincerely sorry that you were disturbed by the noise coming from the room above yours. Please feel free to contact our reservations department for your next stay in Paris and we will allocate you a beautiful room on the top floor.

We stayed in Paris 5 days, one night in the Majestic. From the first to the last minute of our stay everything was impeccable. Personally, I do a lot of travelling and have stayed in many hotels around the world but the efforts of the Concierge and the Front desk together with all the other hotel staff are always something that makes the stay in a hotel memorable. The Majestic staff said yes for everything we needed...for sure we will come again. And the pool and spa area are a great relaxation after a busy day. Thumbs up for this hotel, you won't regret going there.

Room Tip: Junior suite, it has a wardrobe room and fresh macarons served.

Excellent hotel in a very convenient location, being a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe, the de Gaulle-Etoile Metro, and the Avenue Kleber Metro .
The location is quiet. House keeping in the hotel was impeccable, room and bathroom spotless. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the bar menu more than adequate. The staff were in every case friendly, helpful, efficient and polite, and the way we were greeted was A1.
All round, this is a good place to stay.

This wonderful hotel is in an ideal location!, ....walking distance to Champs D'Elysees, close to the Trocadero, and George V Avenue. The Junior Suite we are staying in, has a charming, classy decor with an attractive large sunny terrace with a view of the Eiffel Tower and the Sacre-Coeur Basilica! The Majestic Hotel has an excellent staff! Tony the Front Desk assistant Manager gave us an outstanding service! The hotel cleaning service has an outstanding level of cleanliness! This hotel is an excellent choice to vacation in Paris!

Dear Madam,

This is a real delight to read how much you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful property.

Our hotel is a good base to go and explore Paris indeed. We are glad that you enjoyed your accommodation, however, we would like to underline that you most certainly enjoyed a room upgrade, as the room you described is our Penthouse Suite, not a Junior Suite, and that it is one of our most amazing Suites. Our staff will be thrilled to learn that you appreciated their outstanding service, especially Tony.

We truly hope that we will have the opportunity to welcome you back to the Villa Hotel Majestic
during your next vacation in the City of Lights.

Disappointing visit to the Villa & Hotel Majestic, we were out there for a 30th birthday weekend we had booked two rooms for our party and on check in were told we were on separate floors. I explained we wanted to be next door but was told the hotel was at full occupancy, funny as we saw only one other guest the whole weekend, empty bar and restaurant throughout the whole three days. The hotel realised it was a 30th birthday weekend celebration so gave a voucher for 2 glasses of champagne with three in the party this seemed very tight, but never the less. When we called down to get these they then bought a bill for 3 glasses (we paid for the 3rd one!) We explained and handed them the voucher the guy was rude and seemed at an inconvenience and also clearly just been called in from his smoking break. The rooms were clean if not a little old fashioned but the hotel lacks any form of personality or warmth it is sterile. On check out on the Sunday we sat in reception for 10 minutes before departure all the reception staff were watching a programme on the laptop at the front desk, not professional at all and the whole feeling looking at the staff were there were lots of them with very little to do, they also were not very smiley or welcoming throughout our entire stay also if staff are going to smoke no problem but maybe keep it away from the front door of the hotel. On one evening we asked the bar if we could borrow 3 wine glasses we simply pointed to some wine glasses when we were told “no these do not leave the bar” again no problem but they made us feel like criminals. Good points, hotel in a great location for all the sights and a nice area. I am lucky enough to get to travel and stay in hotels but Villa Majestic was a huge let down although we didn’t let it spoil the delights of a weekend in Paris!

Dear Madam,

We thank you for sharing your comments regarding your recent stay with us. We are pleased that you enjoyed our location and the cleanliness of the room.

We are sincerely sorry that your stay did not live up to your expectations and would like to elaborate on a few points.

Regarding the rooms, we would have been pleased to try to allocate them on the same floor if we were advised prior to your arrival. Unfortunately, we did not have the possibility to change the allocation upon arrival, as we were fully booked.

It is not surprising that you did not meet many other guests during the week end as we are a boutique hotel that features 48 rooms, there are only a few rooms on each floor and we wish the atmosphere to be intimate and confidential so that the guests can feel like home. All our rooms are different in layout and decoration and that’s what makes our hotel special. We regret that you didn’t like the decoration of your room and suggest that you stay in one of our Grand Deluxe rooms next time, as their decoration is more contemporary.

We are amazed that you did not feel any warmth from our staff as this is a point we generally pride ourselves on. Most of our guests think that the main assets of the Villa Hotel Majestic are the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff, as well as the warm and unique atmosphere of the hotel. We are really sorry if you couldn’t feel it as your well-being is very important to us.

We duly noted that you were bothered by the fact that you could see people smoking outside the hotel and we immediately took action so that it doesn’t happen again. We also wanted to apologize if you felt attacked when the waiter told you that the Cognac glasses had to stay in the bar. We trust this was due to a language barrier as he immediately offered to bring other glasses to your room.

We hope that we will have the pleasure to welcome you back to the Villa Hôtel Majestic so that we can offer you the level of hospitality that you expect from a 5* hotel and that we are used to offering our guests. Please feel free to contact me directly should you wish to book and I will personally ensure that you have a wonderful stay.

I stayed here with my wife on our honeymoon. We went to Rome, Paris and London. This hotel was amazing, the accommodations were excellent and the service provided by the Concierge was very personable and attentive, and Front Office was spectacular. Louise the Front Desk assistant Manager gave us a great service. She is very attentive to her guest's needs.
Working in a property were we pride in our service, going to a establishment where I can find the same service I provide is something I consider great and I found it here.
I recommend anyone to stay here. Great location and great service specially for our honeymoon.

We had a very nice, four-night stay at the Majestic. The decor is tasteful and restrained, and the rooms quite large for Parisian standards. I also found the breakfast quite nice. The location was a little hard to find at first via taxi, but it's on a quiet side street and easily accessible via the Metro.

I usually stay at the Raphael, a sister property located just down the street. Although we had no major issues during our stay at the Majestic, it was lacking the service and overall ambiance "charm" of the Raphael. That said, if you're looking for a premium, high-end property to stay at while in Paris, you won't go wrong at all with the Majestic.

Dear Guest,
We thank you very much for sharing your comments about your stay at the Villa Hotel Majestic.
We are really pleased to read that you enjoyed your time with us. The atmosphere in our boutique hotel is quite different from our sister hotel the Raphael, which is a place full of history indeed, however we share the same values of a warm welcome and thoughtful service for all our guests. We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back to Paris.
