Great friendly and helpful service in a comfortable hotel with a fresh feel. Fairy central location but in a quiet spot. Would definitely stay again. Minor niggle - lift mechanism was noisy/creaky and woke us up if the window was open.

Room Tip: would avoid rooms near lift (creaky)

Hotel Joyce is really nice for a Paris property - rooms are a little tight, but by European standards, very comfortable. The best part was the location, situated right in the 9th arr. you are in walking distance of two metro lines and can pretty much walk everywhere from Sacre Coure to the Louvre. There were also some great little cafes and restaurants close by.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially the gentleman who went out of his way to get me in my room early when I arrived 3 hours before check in.

Would recommend this property and would stay here again.

This is a fabulous little boutique hotel. Everything you could require, nice bedroom with lovely clean bathroom, good Buffett breakfast and fantastic helpful staff. A bonus is the free Buffett during the day for tea, coffee, juice, nibbles, cake etc. I would recommend this hotel, the area is good with lots of nice restaurants and cafés etc and handy for the metro as well. Would definitely stop here again.

My husband and I just spent two nights here and liked the hotel very much. The bed was a proper double bed, the bathroom was good, and our room (5th floor overlooking the back) was quiet, stylish, and in good condition. The breakfast was a nice buffet, and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was small, it has to be said, but as our stay was short and we had only two carry-on suitcases, it wasn't a problem.

Stayed for four nights in March (27th - 31st) and had the most wonderful time. Had booked to take my mum away for the long weekend and wanted somewhere central with good connections, but not your usual chain hotel. This was the perfect balance, the feel of a boutique place but no unwanted surprises. You are five minutes walk from the metro (Blanche which is right outside the Moulin Rouge, St George, Trinite and Pigalle) so you have a north/south line and an east/west line.

The staff here are some of the friendliest I have ever come across. Nothing was too much trouble, they were on hand at all times and knew the answers to all our questions. On checking in they directed us to a comfortable seating area and offered us drinks whilst we signed the paperwork, nice touch that was appreciated after our journey.

Stayed in a superior twin room (room 204). Décor was stylish, bathroom up to date and fresh. Two big windows overlooking the street. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows - small things but they do make a difference! TV had a variety of channels in a few languages (BBC world news which ensured we could keep up with the weather which was glorious for our stay). The lift up is tiny, but we both got in and had our luggage in the middle. The staircase is spiral and fits with the character of the place.

There is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room BUT you don't need them as downstairs is an "all-day" (12pm - 12am) buffet of snacks and free drinks (Tea, Coffee, Soda ...) Crisps, nuts and a different cake everyday. We made much use of this afternoon and night.

The breakfast room is light and airy with funky car seats along one wall. The buffet style breakfast was a full selection - eggs, bacon, sausage (French), cereals, yogurt, pastries, bread, cheeses, pancakes, fruits and juices - waitress service for your hot drinks.

I really can't recommend this hotel enough. it was perfect for us (me and my mum) and there were allsorts of different people staying here (not aimed at one age range).

Room Tip: Superior rooms face out over the street giving a continental feel (but maybe slightly noisier .. alt...

Undoubtedly it is the staff who make this hotel very pleasant to stay in - from reception to the people at breakfast and the cleaners.
Complementary drinks are a nice touch, our room (405) was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable though maybe if I was over 6ft (183cm) it would have been rather short.
Breakfast was pretty standard - crepes were nice.
Good location. What's not to like?
