Overall, my Parisienne experience could not have got off to a better start! The Hotel was relatively easy to find, and in a very convenient location between St.George's and Pigall - about a 5 minute stroll from each.
The concierge was very welcoming, and had an excellent command of the English language, providing us with the details we required, as well as adding recommendations of her own.
The hotel is just a short walk from the Moulin Rouge, and just a short metro ride from the various attractions in Paris (including Notre Dame, which has a concentration of some of the best eateries in the Capital).
The hotel was clean, tidy, and very well presented, including TV and WiFi (free).
The staff were friendly, and even though there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, there was a coffee machine and facilities available in the conveniently placed dining conservatory, where the beautifully presented breakfast was served every morning.
If I have a couple of negatives to comment on, it would be that the lift is small, and is used by the staff, cleaners, and patrons alike, which can be a little frustrating when your room happens to be on the fifth floor, and that the bed in our room was a simple double bed - not a King or Queen size that we would normally find in a Hotel room.
Again though, the emphasis is on the fact that the overall experience was very good, and one thing I would definitely suggest, is for all first timers to take an open-bus tour of Paris (the red one is cheaper than the yellow - you'll see what I mean when you get out there!), as this will provide you with a good bearing on where things are.
