Overall, my Parisienne experience could not have got off to a better start! The Hotel was relatively easy to find, and in a very convenient location between St.George's and Pigall - about a 5 minute stroll from each.
The concierge was very welcoming, and had an excellent command of the English language, providing us with the details we required, as well as adding recommendations of her own.
The hotel is just a short walk from the Moulin Rouge, and just a short metro ride from the various attractions in Paris (including Notre Dame, which has a concentration of some of the best eateries in the Capital).
The hotel was clean, tidy, and very well presented, including TV and WiFi (free).
The staff were friendly, and even though there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, there was a coffee machine and facilities available in the conveniently placed dining conservatory, where the beautifully presented breakfast was served every morning.
If I have a couple of negatives to comment on, it would be that the lift is small, and is used by the staff, cleaners, and patrons alike, which can be a little frustrating when your room happens to be on the fifth floor, and that the bed in our room was a simple double bed - not a King or Queen size that we would normally find in a Hotel room.
Again though, the emphasis is on the fact that the overall experience was very good, and one thing I would definitely suggest, is for all first timers to take an open-bus tour of Paris (the red one is cheaper than the yellow - you'll see what I mean when you get out there!), as this will provide you with a good bearing on where things are.

Room Tip: Choose one of the floors on the higher floors, as Paris in general can get a bit noisy (not somethin...

We wish to thank you for making our stay with you so enjoyable. We would like to commend the staff for their
excellent customer service and attention to detail. You made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
Our rooms were of a very high standard, the Hotel is impeccably clean and beautifully designed and a joy to stay in.
The rooms are quiet, spacious and imaginativly arranged. The beds are comfortable and have all the facilities needed for the customer. The Hotel is within easy walking distance of Montmartre. The area is a great base for those wishing to visit Paris.
Highly recommended
Thank you for looking after us
Very best wishes Jill, Peter & Hannah Behrens

Room Tip: Only stayed on floor 4 which was quiet ,spacious and beautifully designed. Recommend.

Staff at Hotel Joyce is kind and helpful. Our room was very cold when we arrived (May 14th) and even though the central heating system was officially off, they were kind enough to turn it on in our room.

Room and bathroom were very clean. Spotless. Which definitively is the most important thing when I'm choosing a hotel.

Bed was very comfortable and shower was great.

Closet, floor, bathroom, towels, sidetables, sheets... everything was spotless.

Breakfast and location, OK.

Do not recommend shuttle service. It was a horrible experience.

Overall: Best choice if you're going to Paris. Looking forward to go back.

Room Tip: We had room 003 which I loved because it was very big. So was the bathroom. Very comfortable and cle...

Such a great hotel! Stayed here for a little over a week with my mom for our first trip to Paris. First of all the staff is amazing very helpful and friendly! Felt like I was home every time I came in. 2nd location is wonderful. At first I was afraid it would be too far from a lot of things or that it was in the red light district of Paris but no it's not! Safe area (although I feel all of Paris is pretty safe) and we walked to everything. Also there are several metro lines close by that are very convenient and easy to use! There's also great cafe's and places to eat around every corner and its super close to the opera house and layette shopping district (amazing shopping full of boutique shops and a large mall). Lastly they have a great area in the hotel with an open bar with coffee juice tea and snacks. My mother and I would end everyday sitting down there with an espresso and just recapping our day and what we are gonna do tomorrow! All in all a great place to stay and I will be back!

My best friend and I were travelling on a business trip and were recommended Hotel Joyce by some friends who spoke highly of this place. On arrival we were pleasantly greeted by staff. We had reserved a room online prior to our trip, receptionist found our booking very quickly, check in was a breeze. complimentary wi-fi passwords were issued to both of us to use on our own devices. A small lift took us and our luggage up to our 5th floor rooms. Room 502 faced the inside courtyard, overlooking the glass skylight of the hotel atrium. The rooms are modern, clean, elegant, and very very very quiet. My friend noticed the absence of noise during the stay. We requested twin beds. Our twin beds were separately made up but placed side by side. My friend and I didn't mind this arrangement. Bathrooms were well appointed with eco friendly toiletries. Showerhead over bathtub, toilet in the same room. Breakfast is a must. It was only a few extra euros to have breakfast included. Again we were greeted by friendly smiling staff. Lovely hot coffee available as well as freshly baked bread, croissants, baguette, fruit salad, yoghurts, fruit juices, sausages, fluffy omelettes, cereal... Check out was a breeze. Receptionist allowed us to pay separately and issue separate invoices for our business account making us feel like it was no trouble at all. We stored our luggage with the hotel after check out. Quick walk (~3minutes with our suitcases in tow) to St Georges Metro around the corner. Close proximity to Galeries Lafayette/Printemps (~10min walk). We have already booked our rooms for end of May when we transit through Paris again. Would highly recommend to all friends and family. Can't fault this hotel.

Me and my husband stayed in this hotel for three nights for a mini break in Paris. Good location - walking distance to Pigalle metro and bars. Quiet street except for the first night when the congierge at our hotel stood outside chatting very loudly with the one at the hotel across the street - for hours. However the subsequent nights were ok. The room was small but well equipped. The design of the hotel is very nice - modern, clean and seems to be recently refurbished. The hotel offers a very nice srvice to its guests - free snacks and beverages in the hotel bar throughout the day. All in all a very nice stay!

Location is convenient and surrounded by good restaurants. You would feel very comfortable asking direction and what to do from the hotel staff. Room is modern and there is a mini snack which is complimentary by hotel staff after 2 pm.
