“Pleasant place”
Reviewed October 9, 2012 via mobile

A tiny little place, pleasant, with food not soooooo good, but not bad. The owner is very kind and the dishes are well served. And it is in a calm place in montmartre. Not in a noisy area.
I think it is very good place!!!

“Atmospheric”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

It was wonderful to be in Montmartre and to have a lunch in Utrillo's la Maison Rose. The food was good and the service was also good, but actually sit in the house where a lot of famous artists met was truly breathtaking.

“Storybook Setting”
Reviewed August 19, 2012

The entire neighborhood of Montmarte is a magical place to wonder around and think about the lives of the past and present artists in the area. Once that I heard that La Maison Rose was often frequented by Pablo Picasso and Vincent Van Gogh I had to pay the pink house a visit. The setting is storybookesque and knowing it's history makes the experience all the more special. The staff of two were very friendly. The food was was nothing spectacular, but good and simple as was the price. I recommend going just before sunset to experience the transition as the cafe lights up into the starry starry night. Candles would have been perfect. An accordion player for a bit and then the most beautiful sounds of guitar made the experience all the better.

“A quiet relaxing spot”
Reviewed August 18, 2012

Adequate food - not cordon bleu - but the location is everything - slightly away from the overcrowded Place du tetre. Good service, very friendly waiter. Loo not bad either, which is always a bonus!

“The pretty little house with very bad food”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

Don't get lured by the nice appearance of this restaurant. The place might seem typical of Montmarte but the food is a disaster. I went there with friends and we had a terrible experience. The food was definitely not homemade. The duck was overcooked and the 12€ salad was ridiculously small. To avoid absolutely!!!
