My husband and I had a terrific meal. We sat with a fun couple from Australia who had recently sung in male choir. The white asparagus were tender with a caper berry sauce, my husband had a fricassee of mushroom with poached egg. The starters were so good we didn't know how we would room for more! The short ribs with Parmesan risotto was the best. Mt husbands veal chop was large, a bit fatty but very good flavor. Though our table wasn't great ( by the bathroom) the meal was a delight. The wait staff are lighthearted but slow with taking the order. We've already made another reservation to return!

We made reservations for dinner after reading the stellar reviews on tripadvisor and Frommer's. Reservations were probably necessary, since there was not a single table available. While reasonably priced and portions were large, we were disappointed with the food. My ravioli starter was bland and would more accurately be described as sheets of pasta. Didn't care for the crepes with crab at all. Scallops for my main was their best dish. Though the scallops were a bit unevenly cooked, they were seasoned well. Lamb was also bland but the accompanying risotto was okay. Prefer creme brulee with a slightly firmer consistency.

Our trip to Le Hide was fantastic and a quintessential representation of a fine french dining experience. With the prix fixe offering for a starter, main, and desert, a full menu in english to order off of, and servers that speak passible english ordering our meal was simple and pleasant.

**For travelers with children** While they are very welcoming to children (Ours is three) they do not have a menu for children, so bring your own snacks or food for your little ones.

The first step to enjoying your meal is to make a reservation. We had our hotel concierge call and book us a table for 7.30pm. We arrived at 7, and they had no issue seating, but we're informed that they were not taking any walk-ins because they were booked for the night. With plans to do a night visit of the Arc de Triumph afterwards, this is the perfect restaurant within an easy walk to both a metro station and the monument itself.

For starters we enjoyed the escargot and lobster and crab filled crepes (in what looked and tasted like a fine bisque. Both dishes were excellent, the escargot cooked to perfection and served on a thick slice of baguette, covered in olive oil and garlic. The lobster crepes were decadent and extremely rich...very delicious.

Our mains were the pork loin with parmesan risotto and a veal rib chop. The pork was falling apart and the risotto was fully and delicious. The veal, ordered medium, had a nice little sear and served with what tasted of a good pan gravy. We savored every bite of the two dishes (Which were huge portions!), with the expectations that the stairs of the Arc would help burn them off. Words really cannot describe the flavors of the two mains, so good, so simple.

For desert we had the chocolate layered cake with ice cream and the chestnut cake (Mont Blanc). They were everything one would expect in a French desert, well portioned, very sweet and decadent, and made you want more with every bite (Especially a glass of milk...which they more than happily provided!).

The only down side was the walk up the Arc de Triumph afterward (With the toddler in tow/on shoulders). We were very full of exquisite French food, but any feelings of glut were quickly washed away when five minutes after we reached the top, the lights of Eiffel's Tower began to shimmer. A perfect end to a perfect parisian day, which included a magnificent Parisian meal!

For our first Frech dinner in Paris, this was great. Very intimate setting, service was also great. We did the pre-fixe. I had the escargot and it was great (even my husband liked it and he didn't think he would). Dessert sampler was awesome, so was the cheese plate. Great value for the meal we had.

came here after visiting arc de triumph. only three people works in this small reataurant with Kiba as the chef which you can see working in the kitchen via the bar at the cashier. we came at 6 and managed to get a reservation for 9 which was ideal after taking some night photos on top of the arc. when we arrived at 9 we still had to wait a while and was given some nibbles while we waited. the food here is great but note the large servings as my friend both ordered an entree and main and thought afterwards that it was sufficient to just order a single course. definitely book ahead if you intend to come as there were still patrons coming in when we left. recommended!
