“Just Book It”

Yes just book it. If you are looking at this hotel you have a budget, which was the case for us so don't even think twice. It is nice and it is not pricey and it is decent enough, especially for Paris! Rooms are not that small (bathroom is very small though!), breakfast is good and cheap, car parking is not a problem, owners are nice and speak English well. So all good. Go for it.

We booked a triple room for a three night stay with our adult daughter. As others have stated, this is a great location, close to the Metro, and an easy walk to bars and restaurants in the area. The staff is very accomodating, very friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. The rooms are small, and the bathroom are tiny. Anyone who is very large would have trouble moving around. We had a street side room, and were in Paris when it was VERY hot, so had to sleep with the window open. There was a lot of noise in the early morning. Would recommend booking a courtyard room.

Room Tip: Ask for courtyard side.

We stayed 3 nights at this lovely little hotel. Just 5 mins walk from Pernety metro station. Staff were great, room small but comfortable. A little stuffy on the hot nights as there is no air conditioning and window cannot be left open due to noise and smokers close by. The Metro 14 Bistro opposite the train station had the very best veal steaks with mushroom sauce either of us have ever eaten. Give them a try.

This hotel is easy to get to from CDG airport. The RER stops at Denfert-Rochereau and caught a taxi from there. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful upon my arrival. My double room was very nice and clean, and had a lovely view of the rooftops in the neighbourhood. Very small bathroom, but by Paris standards, it's probably normal.
The bed was very comfortable, too. The lifts are very small, as they are for all small European hotels, but can fit a person and a bag just fine.
The area is not too touristy and felt quite safe. Places like the Montparnasse cemetery and the Fondation Cartier pour l'Art Contemporain are walking distance. The metro station is very close, and also to Montparnasse station.

Booked here as we wanted a hotel within walking distance of Montparnasse train station for an overnight stay. This cute little hotel is a 15-minute walk from the station, and had good reviews, so we gave it a try. It's colourful, cute and clean, and the staff are very friendly. As others have said, the rooms are quite tiny - you'll have to step over your bags to manoeuvre around the room and there's no elevator, so the bags have to be carried up a narrow circular staircase. But the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and we were directed to a great local restaurant for our first dinner in Paris. Breakfast was tasty and there's lots of local colour on the surrounding streets. Pernety Metro stop is 5 minutes walk. Good choice for a reasonable price close to Montparnasse.

Small hotel in Montparnasse, about 15 min walk from the Montparnasse Bienvenue station, but a couple of closer metro stops on rue Losserand around the corner will take you to Champs Elysees in c 10-15 min. Great value and friendly, helpful staff. The rooms (esp bathrooms) are very small, even by Paris standards and some of the furniture looked a bit worn (stains on the night-stand and the armchair), BUT: this was wear and tear only, the room was certainly very clean. Also, the bed deserves special mention, as the mattress was new and very good and the rooms were quiet. We decided not to have breakfast in the hotel, though the courtyard seemed cute. For breakfast alternatives, try either Frangines on rue Losserand or the small place twenty metres to the left (forgotten the name) for good coffee, fresh pastry and home-made jam for c 7 Euro. Avoid the Metro-Bistro at the corner of the Pernety metro stop!
Will certainly recommend this hotel to friends as a great budget option and will also check availability next time we are in Paris.

A 2 night stay in this affordable little hotel proved a rewarding experience. The staff are soooo helpful, nothing is too much trouble and you don't feel bad asking. The colours are bright and funky. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, best coffee of anywhere we stayed. Close to Metro, lots of great little eateries close by and patisseries to die for. The rooms are clean and bright, they are not big but neither is the cost. I would definitely stay here again there is a great vibe about this place.
