“Best meal and service in Paris”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

We came here because it was close to our hotel and we were tired after 3 days of walking in the City Of Lights. What a lucky occurrence. We're supposed t o dine at another restaurant. Food was superb and service matched it. I am asthmatic and we had given up dining outside for this reason BUT no problem here. We were seated "on the edge" away from other diners. Escargot was PER FECT. I had chicken stuffed w zucchini, just wonderful. On and on. Pls. Give them a try.

“Delicious food, friendly, great location, and sunny terrace”
Reviewed May 19, 2014

Loved this place. Amazing French food and a good wine list. The interior was warm and chic, and when we returned a second time, we sat outside on the pleasant terrace. It seemed very popular with locals and that is always a good sign! The service was good and they gave us lots of recommendations about their specialties. We had meat and fish dishes and they were both delicious. A great place to stop by if you are around the Invalides or the Ecole Militaire or the Eiffel Tower.

“little portions, bad service.....”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

If you are hungry, do not expect to come out of this restaurant with a full stomach. The portions were extra small. And when one of the dessert choices from the day's menu was no longer available, no substitution was made. We had to order and pay extra for a dessert from the main menu. The service was condescending and only slightly cordial. After waiting awhile for someone to come back so we could order coffees, we gave up and went up to the counter to pay our bill. No smiles, no thank you's, no apologies for anything. This is definitely not a place I would recommend. They are definitely not customer friendly. It was extremely expensive for what we had to eat.

“Bistro with character”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

A genuine French bistro in the 7th - delicious food, charming atmosphere and attentive staff - which is hard to come by not just in the 7th but in Paris itself. The fish was my favourite - papillote de poisson - and you should definitely stay for dessert as the crumbles are second to none. Run by a small family and some very dedicated staff (some dedicated regulars as well) the ambiance is just right - friendly without being over the top - and the perfect place to relax over an aperitif in a group or solo. Don't get me started on the wine selection...

“Don't eat fish whatsoever!!!!!!!!!”
Reviewed February 16, 2014

I had my valentine dinner there..and it was very disappointing. My boyfriend had a salmon starter and I had a raw scallop with kiwi and pineapple topped on. My scallop went alright but there were scales in the salmon!!!!! The main course we had medium rare tuna on a bunch of stir fried vegetables and I can tell you, they don't taste right together (more of a Asian cuisine than French)...most importantly, there were much more scales on every piece of tuna..I was so so disappointed. On the other hand, the other main dish was honey roasted duck, sweet pears and potato cream layers bake. It was pretty good actually!
Finally, we had a chocolate cake with chocolate sauce inside severed with a salted vanilla ice-cream on top and caramel source on the bottom. They were very nice.
To conclude, the scales ruin everything, even the duck and the dessert could not save the night.
Good luck.
