We went to Paris in Feb '13 and wanted a typical traditional french experience. With Oil lanterns, old fashioned decor, pictures and a dusty piano in the corner reminiscent of the days when Picasso walked the streets of the Montmarte Le Bon Bock is as authentic as it gets. The food is also pretty good. Well executed simple French classics ( confit of duck & creme brûlée etc ) at a very reasonable set price of 24 euros and served by very friendly staff that accommodated our limited French. We really wanted an authentic French restaurant and this was spot on.
