Our waiter was the BEST! The food was well priced and Abundant! Not at all Parisian servings. Loved the Salmon Tartar, and the salad, too. Would have been enough food right there, but we had more, and left no room for dessert. I would go back there in a minute!

I'm sitting here in the Trait d'Union...having a Heineken and writing this review. This place is stuck in the 80s...music cranked...a fairly young crowd. I was here earlier tonight for dinner with the family..and the dinner was okay...Risotto and prawns seemed prepackaged as did the ravioli. But they still did a good job that my daughter in particular quite liked (the scallops with Chinese veg -- Jacques wok). But the place was really humming when I went back for an ale at 10.30pm later... either way, a good choice...

No complaints. Food was delicious. Service was typical European, which means not as fast as American. We would eat there again.

Our Saturday evening here was just lovely. A lively mix of diners and drinkers, all French. Good range of bistro food and drink. We had Camembert and steak, both very good (large portions). The upstairs dining room was plush and comfortable without being stuffy.

The real treat, though, was the superb welcome from the waiter, Jean-Luc. Cheerful, helpful and generous, he attended to everyone with the same warmth and skill, while keeping the pace up. We'll definitely return.

Happy times every night brought us there for beers and great salads. The servers were friendly and the location was great for us - right across the street from our hotel. Food was reasonably priced and lots of variety.
