The tour of the Louvre was well done.... our guide John was knowledgeable and good .
with our 10 year old granddaughter. Tour is 2 1/2 hours. He knew interesting tid bits of relevant history. Great for kids. Highly recommended.

We did three tours with Context. All of our guides were knowledgeable and pleasant. No more than four people in any tour....one tour it was just the two of us. The “crash course” of the Louvre I especially recommend for casual art buffs. The crowds are insane and you do hit the highlights. We would have been completely overwhelmed otherwise. We also did the Notre Dame tour - which of course was modified in light of the fire. Still felt it was worth it....we saw some other sights like Saint Chappelle. Overall, their communication was excellent....we never had a problem with finding our guide. Context is not cheap but we felt it was money well spent!

and it's a lot of centimes. I thought my Louvre "crash course" three hour tour was expensive but man, it was worth it. Just six of us led by a bona fide art history expert (with documentary TV in her resume). I ended up pitying the masses of people following the flags and umbrellas of the much more reasonably-priced tour groups. If you really want to sink your teeth into something, and are prepared to pay what it's worth, Context is the one.

We used Context Travel in London (British Museum) and Paris (Louvre). I chose them because of the excellent reviews and would definitely recommend them! We have twin 7 year olds and and an 11 year old and guides were extremely knowledgeable, sharing points of interest, and keeping the children very engaged. We weren’t interested in spending a ton of hours at either place because of the ages of our children but felt more than happy with the amount we covered in each museum.
We will be using Context Travel again for our trips and I have already recommended to my friends.

The Montmartre tours were incredible! The walk was scenic and not too hard, although it was mostly uphill. We learned so much about the history of this area, and loved seeing the homes that artists like Van Gogh and Renoir lived in. Marie was an amazing guide and really made our tour fun and educational. Our family cannot wait to come back for another visit in the future!

Our family had recently taken the French Revolution tour offered by Context Travel in order to develop an understanding of how the Revolution occurred, where, and why. Our guide Gil not only explained these three aspects but also answered all of our other questions that arose during the tour. He was very knowledgeable about France as a whole and not just the French Revolution. Gil would point out all sorts of buildings to us and he was able to describe every single one in perfect detail whether they were related to the French Revolution or not. He also made sure that we understood the subjects he explained to us as well by touching back to everything at the end with a review slideshow. Gil was a very knowledgeable and extraordinary tour guide. I highly recommend Context Travel and Gil to any future visitors that are interested in the French Revolution.
