“A Great Find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2010

Being non french speaking Australians we encountered, from our early morning arrival to the end of our 4 day stay, friendly, helpful staff. The language barrier was not a problem, all had a good understanding of English. Our first discovery; their exceptional coffee maker followed by delicious breakfasts. The availability of all day tea or coffee making facilities in the Breakfast area and the honor bar at night made our stay pleasurable.
We enjoyed our themed pink '60's room, very fitting for our 40th wedding anniversary celebrations. A little small, but it is Paris. It is situated in a good location easy walking to the metro, great shops, museums, gardens and cafes. We felt safe walking at night.
The front desk kindly arranged our bus tour to Normandy, printed out a Google map for our walking adventure to Sacre Coeur, and it was never a trouble for then to call us a cab when needed.
Best liked the decor and color scheme of reception and the idea of themed rooms. Least liked the lack of storage space in the bathroom. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and look forward to returning.

My wife and I actually discovered this hotel through Trip Advisor. After reading all of the reviews, we were very excited about staying at this hotel. We felt that we discovered a gem, and we were not disappointed once we got there!

We stayed at le Petit for 8 nights and were thoroughly impressed with the hotel and the staff. We stayed in a triple deluxe room, and we had plenty of room for our 3 large suitcases (and the souvenirs as they added up)! We took advantage of the Honor Bar the Hotel offers and enjoyed drinks in the little courtyard. After many long days of walking the city, coming back to the Hotel felt like coming home. The Hotel has such a cozy and inviting atmosphere!

We owe so many thanks to the hotel staff - they were wonderful! On our first night there, we discovered that our room did not have a safe installed yet. The next day we had one! We consulted with the ladies at the front to get their advice on places to go, suggestions for the best way to get to certain places, etc. While I am sure they are often bombarded with these types of questions all day, they never showed any sign of irritation. Each person we dealt with seemed more than happy to help us. That is a very reassuring feeling being a foreigner in another country.

As far as location goes, we felt this hotel was in a great spot. We were close to a metro station, and were close enough for pleasant walks to Notre Dame, the Louvre, and the lively streets within the Latin Quarter.

I could definitely go on and on about this Hotel. Bottom line....my wife and I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. We were in Paris celebrating our anniversary, and this Hotel will be a part of our Paris memory forever. When we go back to Paris, we will definitely stay at le Petit again!!

A lovely place to stay in Paris, close to the Marais and Ile de la Cite! This hotel maximizes its limited space with very a very mod lobby and the staff is charming and extremely helpful. Every morning woke up and walked to Jardin du Luxembourg for a coffee and croissant! Great restaurant recommendations from the staff as well...

An adorable, luxuriously appointed hotel with attention to detail and a great staff!

The US ex-pat at the front desk is a delight and it's wonderful to be able to converse naturally in English after a long flight. The lobby is small (it's Europe afternall!), but clean and trendy. It reminded me of a mini Hudson Hotel (NYC).

The rooms are small, but delightfully decorated with cute romantic touches (silk panels, huge over-sized headboard) and modern delights (LED shower lights, flatscreen). And I must mention the entire hotel is absolutely spotless. We had a lovely balcony on which we enjoyed croissant and cafe creme daily. The climate control is spot on. The cozy hallways are sumptuous and energy efficient, outfitted with motion-lighting.

The staff puts out small refreshment displays and an honor bar in the lobby each afternoon and refreshed each evening. TIP:There is no ice machine each etage, so grab les glacons from the lobby on your way up!

Located on rue Saint Jacques, you will find it easy to navigate the city via metro - just steps away from RER B. The hotel is close to the Sorbonne and there are a lot of late night bars and cafes around. About a 10-15 minute leisurely walk to the Louvre.

Don't worry about the 3-star rating. This hotel is uniquely gorgeous and a great pick for a romantic weekend in Paris! I will definitley be returning soon!

I loved this hotel! The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms were gorgeously appointed. At night they would put out an Honor bar and you could pour your glass of wine and just write down your room number and they charge u at check out. Location wise, it is right off the metro line and extremely close to Jardin du Luxembourg. You can walk to everything.

We stayed in Hotel Le Petit Paris for 6 nights for our honeymoon. We found the hotel very conveniently located. It's right in the heart of the Latin Quartier (5th arrondissement) and we were within walking distance to the Panthéon, Jardin du Luxembourg, Église St-Sulpice, Notre Dame... 15 minutes walk from the hotel brought us to St-Germain, where we found plenty of good restaurants and cafés.

The closest subway station to the hotel is the RER line, Luxembourg. Despite the frequent delays, it was the most efficient way to get around the city.

Service was impeccable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They were always happy to recommend places to eat and they certainly recommended well! MUST TRY: Le Comptoir du Panthéon!

Clean cosy room with modern deco and a really really comfortable bed. The free self-service afternoon tea at the hotel lobby was a good idea. Every day we would stop for a little refreshment while planning for the rest of the evening itinerary. The only downside is the room was quite small and the bathroom floor gets flooded after each shower.

Will I recommend this hotel? Yes, it's a good value if you wish to be centrally located in a small boutique hotel.

Will I come back? Definitely!
