Hotel le Petit Paris

Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed December 13, 2013

After much research and looking at many reviews on trip advisor I took the plunge and booked Hotel Le Petit, I was not disappointed at all. The reviews were certainly accurate. This is a relaxing and very well thought out Hotel, the room was not big but extremely well furnished and finished to a high standard. Upon arrival we were greeted with warmth and smiles, just what we needed after the flight and train journey. Paris in December is certainly cold, but coming back to a cosy and warm hotel with complimentary hot drinks and an honesty bar is just what you need. This hotel has won awards from trip advisor and very well deserved as you will find out if you take my advice and stay here.

Room Tip: As with all my tips on hotels, book direct.

I've traveled to 30+ countries, so have stayed in dozens of hotels. But the helpfulness, kindness, and courteousness of the receptionists at this hotel were truly outstanding. They went out of their way to anticipate my needs, and all in English! They exuded the attitude that they were there to make my visit to Paris as enjoyable as possible. My room was on the street, and I am a very light sleeper, but the rare siren awoke me in the night, when the street, because it narrows at the hotel, is quite quiet.

Staying two nights at this hotel with my girlfriends for a girly shopping weekend. I was welcomed warmly by the hotel staff. I lost my luggage's key and the receptionist was so helpful to run around to find the tool to open it for me. You can find beautiful hotels everywhere, but to find a beautiful hotel with good personal service is not very easy and this hotel manages to offer both and much more.

Stayed for three nights in this small and beautiful hotel. Location is just excellent with the french quarter, Notre Dame and Marais just a short walk away.

The staff were extremely friendly and serviceminded for the entire stay.

The hote itself is very modern, clean and presents a warm atmosphere.

Only negative thing is that the food brought to us for roomservice looked and tasted like it came out of a vending-machine.. Doesnt matter though, the breakfast was very good.

Having travelled alot, I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite hotels ever.
Normally I dont bothe writing reviews, but just had to on this one..

Dear Madam, Sir

First of all thanks for taking time to leave a message on Trip Advisor, I noticed in your message that you did not much enjoyed the room service.

The room service is made by a company outside the Hotel, I am also not happy about the quality , and therefore I took the decision to stop working with them. We are going to work with a restaurant a few steps from the Hotel , they are actually making a menu for us. This place make traditional and homemade products. This will provide a strength for our room service.

We are sorry that your meal was not as great as you expected.

Best Regards

We have been to Paris twice in the last two years and both times we have stayed here and have nothing but rave reviews for the hotel and staff! The rooms are not overly large, but they are definitely well done and very clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and on multiple occasions they recommended and organized reservations at fabulous restaurants and not once were we disappointed! The hotel is very centrally located in the Latin Quarter and is within walking distance to almost everything you want to see, and there are plenty of quaint little restaurants and bars in the area to spend the evenings eating fabulous food and tipping a little wine (okay, okay... A lot of wine!) I would definitely recommend the little piano bar/restaurant called au Port du Salut which is literally out the door an 50 meters up the street from the hotel...

Overall an absolutely great place to stay while in Paris! We will be back again for certain...

Room Tip: If you can get one of the rooms with the outdoor terraces, you won't be disappointed!

A cute and comfortable hotel, lovingly maintained. Staff was unfailingly helpful, and the room, while quite small, was well-maintained. The location is a bit away from most of the action, but that also makes it a quiet neighborhood. Just be prepared for a bit more of a commute to typical tourist sites.

My boyfriend booked this hotel as a surprise trip over bank holiday weekend in August.

Really lovely location (I've stayed a few places in Paris) on a fairly central but comparatively quiet street near to Luxembourg metro station.

Staff were very sincere and helpful, as well as discreet.

Rooms are small but well equipped. The bijou bathroom was very well laid out and styled with star lights in tiles.

The coffee bar in lounge area was pleasant. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment.

Great restaurant just over the road Au Port Salut.

Would recommend especially for couples.

Room Tip: Room at front of hotel offer street view.
