“Wonderful little hotel”

A cute and comfortable hotel, lovingly maintained. Staff was unfailingly helpful, and the room, while quite small, was well-maintained. The location is a bit away from most of the action, but that also makes it a quiet neighborhood. Just be prepared for a bit more of a commute to typical tourist sites.

My boyfriend booked this hotel as a surprise trip over bank holiday weekend in August.

Really lovely location (I've stayed a few places in Paris) on a fairly central but comparatively quiet street near to Luxembourg metro station.

Staff were very sincere and helpful, as well as discreet.

Rooms are small but well equipped. The bijou bathroom was very well laid out and styled with star lights in tiles.

The coffee bar in lounge area was pleasant. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment.

Great restaurant just over the road Au Port Salut.

Would recommend especially for couples.

Room Tip: Room at front of hotel offer street view.

Can't say enough about the lovely gem of a hotel. This area of the Latin Quarter was ideal location for many reasons. We walk to all of our restaurants each evening and to many of our sight seeing destinations. Several afternoons my sister and I would be worn out from a day of walking and decided to pick up a few item to eat in our room, to relax before dinner. In a block of the hotel we found a butcher, bakery, fruit stand and wine shop, we stopped at each and enjoyed a nice picnic in our room.
The staff was wonderful and very helpful, no matter what the need or request, they would somehow accommodate you. In fact, we Emailed the hotel several times prior to our visit and were met with a quick response to all of our questions. They never went wrong with restaurant recommendations and were happy to make reservations, then map out the way there. In fact a good thing to note when traveling to Paris for the time, we felt safe walking both day or night and would alway walk back to hotel after dinner (up to 30 minutes).

The room was clean, modern and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay here again myself.

Thanks for a great visit!
XOXO

My wife and I stayed here for five nights in October 2013. It is a great hotel and conveniently located -out the door and to the left on the same street for a 20 minute walk to Notre Dame, two blocks and turn left again for two more blocks to the Luxembourg Gardens, five minutes to the Panthenon, and 25 minutes the other direction to the Catacombs.

The staff was nice, with Karim being one of the most wonderful people we had the pleasure of meeting in Paris. He was helpful beyond words, his hospitality and friendliness were genuine, and he was very patient with my Texas drawl in helping us with some basic French terms to negotiate restaurants, cabs, and attractions. He was also knowledgable of things to do and the best way to get there.

Yes, you would expect this of a concierge at a hotel of this caliber, but Karim truly made the first stay of our two weeks in Europe better than we could have ever expected.

The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, with even an Italian place right across the street. It is close enough to Notre Dame to be convenient, yet far away enough to get escape from the typical "touristy" stuff.

To be up front: there is no parking, and the cabs block the street for pickup and drop-off. Take this into account when arriving or leaving. There is a wide spot a cab can pull into about a half block away to load/unload luggage.

It is tiny, but very comfortable and inviting. The breakfast was good, though I must admit that I wasn't crazy about their scrambled eggs -hardly something to cause offense. The bed was comfortable for my bad back, and our room was was high enough and one the correct side of the building to see the top half of the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

It is worth the higher cost, and we would gladly stay here again if we ever return to Paris.

(Side note: there is no Fitness Center, so ignore that part of my rating. I was a little quick on the mouse click.)

Room Tip: Our room, #302, faced the Eiffel Tower.

We booked this hotel for a short trip because we wanted to explore the Luxembourg area of Paris.
The hotel is in a quite small 5 floor house. The staff at the reception is very friendly. There is a very cosy sitting area on the ground floor with magazines, laptop and use of free coffee and tea after 1pm.
We had the triple room located on the 4th floor. It was actually a double room with a sofa on the corner which they made into a bed. So, the room became very small. The bathroom was very small too.
We couldn't help to get the bathroom floor wet after showering, the shower door was not fitted properly.
You had step to sideways to use the separate toilet in the room.
Not a 4 star in my eyes.

I stayed for 7 days and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It's small but had every convenience. The concierge/front desk were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were happy to provide recommendations to restaurants and to make reservations on our behalf. It's very convenient to the metro/RER and there are a lot of restaurants and cafes around. I would definitely stay at Hotel le Petit Paris again.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. I was very pleased with the accommodations. Based on some reviews of hotels in Paris, I was expecting a very small room. Yes, it was smaller than rooms in the US, but it was definitely not tiny. We were pleased with the decor of the room. The lighting in the shower was especially nice.

The hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs. Since we don't speak much French, it was nice to have the hotel staff be able to speak English. My girlfriend caught a cold while we were in Paris. The hotel staff was nice enough to give her some medicine from behind the counter.

I loved the location of the hotel. Being in the Latin quarter, I got the sense that we were in an area that was true Paris and not too touristy. We were a very short walk away from Notre Dame. We walked to many locations. The metro station was a quick 2 block walk away, which made it convenient to travel to a little further away places in Paris.

A very wonderful hotel. I would definitely stay here again
