I have to say that the hotel was great. Staff very helpful and they all remembered my name throughout our stay. Rooms are small even by Paris standards but they are nice. Particuarly the showers are awesome, they are rain showers and I've experienced that before but I really didn't want to get out of this one, just so relaxing.
The thing is I find the location a bit of a downer. Pantheon and Luxumbourg gardens are close but that's about it. Ile de Cite not far by not quite close either. Latin Quarter close but I find that to be the most overrated spot in the city. Only an RER stop nearby, though it is the RER that runs to CDG so that's helpful.
In summary, if you like this neighborhood better than I do, then stay at this hotel.... but if you're a tourist I recommend staying in the 7th.
