This outdoor restaurant is in the stunning Bois de Boulogne setting. Our experience didn't start out well, as the tables were placed so close to each other it was physically impossible to be seated. It took a few minutes but finally our table was relocated to a roomier space. Why should that have been necessary? Our servers were very polite and were working hard but seemed disorganized. We ordered a bottle of wine and were brought one glass. We asked for bread twice before receiving it. We ordered a large bottle of water and received a small one. We noted that others around us were receiving the wrong orders so it was apparent something was amiss. Our food was fine even though it appeared to have come off a production line. Other than the difference between fish and fowl, the plates were identical. We concluded that it must be the end of the season and everybody is tired. That's fine, but not if we are expected to pay premium prices, which we did. Main course plus dessert with no starter was €40 per person. Wine and water were, of course, extra. The rest rooms were not clean and looked as if they had been vandalized, even though there was the initialed sign on the door indicating regular inspections. For people on a budget or with high expectations, a better alternative in the Bois de Boulogne might to bring a lunch for a nice picnic on the grass.
