“Good food, but too expensive and small servings”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

We were in a hotel very close to this restaurant and decided to have lunch there, both ordered ravioli, light as every woman I ordered spinach ravioli, we were surprised with boar as micromanagement that looked more like an appetizer, the taste was good, but I sure you have the best restaurants in Paris, besides that, everything is too expensive. through Minimum amount of food and the price too expensive, not recommend.

“Mouth watering food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2013

During a weekend trip to Paris myself and my family had a mean at il sorrentino. The view from this restaurant is breathtaking so anyone who is looking for an Eiffel Tower view - this is the restaurant for you!
The food is incredible and absolutely delicious with real italian flavour. Even my fussy 13 year old absolutely loved their pizzas. Although it is rather pricey, this is expected in central Paris and you pay for delicious food and a beautiful view. Highly recommended!

“Fine Italian Cuisine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2013

I don't usually like to eat in Italian restaurants but this has excellent food and wines. Everything was perfect from the aperitivo Spritz to the semi freddo dessert. the pasta was al dente and absolutely fantastic .....and coming from someone who has lived in Italy for 32 years and considers herself a great cook, well done......would recommend this restaurant to all even maybe spending a little extra but definitely worth it......

“the best meal we have had around the world!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2013

We came to Il Sorrentino last year right before my now husband proposed to me. the food was fantastic. We came back this year on our honeymoon.

the restaurant is small/quaint and beautiful! they speak very little English-which is a good sign. But the staff is able to communicate with their guests.

we ordered a mozzarella salad-that was to die for. But the two greatest parts of the meal were the ravioli trio. Each ravioli tasted better than the other. It was the kind of meal that you didn't want to eat too quickly-because it tasted so good and you don't want it to end!

Next time-we will order the pasta that they make in the parmesan wheel. They throw cream and sherry into a wheel that they bring to your table and cook right in front of you. One of the coolest experiences we have ever seen!

Enjoy!

“Great food, great location!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2013

We went to Il Sorrentino based on the reviews here in tripadvisor. When we got there a typical French waiter served us. He didnt smile, or showed any kind of interest apart from serving. Nevertheless, he did everything we asked him efficiently. The food was out of this world. We had bruschettas and carpaccio as a starter, it was perfect. As a main dish we had a pizza and a fish. It was the best fishI have ever tried, and the pizza was great too. The prices were typical Paris, but Il Sorrentino was more than worth it.
