“Delicioso!”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

My friend and I were very warmly greeted at the door and seated right away. Our servers were friendly and funny. The pasta was delicious and the tiramisu was amaaaaaazing! This restaurant has a fantastic location, literally steps away from the Eiffel Tower. It was reasonably priced, very clean and well decorated with cute details. We will be back!

“Charming and delicious”
Reviewed January 5, 2013 via mobile

A warm welcome, an outstanding black & white picture of Sorrente on the wall, an interesting menu. Have a bruscheta with a glass of sanbitter while choosing your food. Delicious pasta, sweet deserts, (try semifredo alla nociola)... Service is kind, smiling and natural. A good moment.

“Sublime, live a little & try one of the daily pasta specials”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

We had lunch here yesterday, what a revelation, we stumbled on it quite by chance on the way to the Quai Branly (http://www.quaibranly.fr/ well worth a visit, needs at least three hours).

At first we were hesitant as it looked a bit “starched” but we were so glad we took the decision to go in.

The food was incredible, subtle, full of flavour and incredibly creative, probably the best lunch I have ever had.

The staff were very accommodating, friendly, polite not at all how they looked (like mannequins, more like bankers than restaurant professionals…except they know their business a hundred times better than any banker I have had the misfortune to meet).

Appearances can be deceptive, this place was so much more than the sum of its parts and it’s even dog friendly!!

In some ways it was pricey, but in others it offered astonishing value for money as the flavours and food were just so clever.

We hope to get back for dinner before we leave Paris.

“Over rated”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

Went there on 19/12/12 and had made a reservation earlier that day. Lovely decor in the restaurant but unfortunately the food was not great. As a couple from London, UK we tried our best to order in French but the waiter was not very enthusiastic and was quite rude. There was no atmosphere in the restaurant and it felt very awkward.

If you do not want average Italian food for a price which does not reflect the quality then avoid.

“Stay away from the prawns”
Reviewed December 4, 2012

I was not very happy with the food at this restaurant. I read the reviews and had high expectations. The prawns were VERY fishy. Seafood should never be fishy. They did not taste fresh and the flavours were all wrong. I could not eat anything after as my taste buds were very unhappy.

The service was OK, however, it was nothing special and under par compared to other restaurants.

The restaurant itself is cosy and in a nice location, however, this is not enough for me to go back.
