Arrived at the hotel well before check in time- we was allocated a room that was double bedded however we had asked for a twin beds- the hotel sorted this for us and located us in a deluxe room with sensational views of the Eiffel tower! The room was spacious with great facilities such as an nespresso machine, 42 inch plasma, i-pod docking station! The downstairs was lovely and their was a great indoor pool and steam room. Beds were excellent!

The was a few negatives- the carpets in the hallways were marked and dirty, swimming pool had tile missing and their was electronic leads going across the floor which was a safety hazard also the iron supplied had exposed wires. The breakfast was also a bit bear compared to all other Radissons I've stayed in consisting of croissants and bread etc. However hot chocolate is amazing!

A few tips- down the road on the right hand side of the hotel is a fantastic bakery with great french patisserie, also a supermarket. ASK ASK ASK the reception for directions- they have quick routes to major sites

Overall was good though and staff were excellent!

We had a room with a view of the tower which was fantastic, room was very clean if a little tired and tatty around the edges, little things that you don't expect when paying a tidy sum for accommodation like carpets being worn and frayed and a bathroom door missing. When we were there the kitchen and restaurant was closed so no opportunity for room service or a meal, although breakfast was available. No cocktails or bar so we were very disappointed as we were there for a couple of days of indulgence together, so had to venture over the threshold more than we had hoped. Staff were a bit snotty apart from Mohammed who was a prefect gentlemen ans seemed to be the only person who knew what was going on.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, very romantic.

I took my daughter to Paris for a long weekend, the hotel came recommended by Short Breaks and we were not disappointed. It was within easy walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, The Trocedero, the red tour bus and it was situated in a nice area. The hotel itself was immaculate.

The room was compact but just what you expect from a city break, it was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was very modern and everything was extremely clean.

The reception staff were all extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

I agree with the previous comment that the breakfast was slow but I put this down to two new very young staff and at the end of the day we all have to start somewhere.

I would definitely recommend and I will definitely go back to the Radisson my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Ultra small room - if you have a big suitcase you might knock it off the stand as you walk past the bed to the door. Great bathroom (as big as the rest of the room). Breakfast (std - juice, baguette, pastries) was nice but the waiters were so slow it was ridiculous - there were 3 small tables and 2 waiters - after 40 minutes I had simply to take it with me once it finally arrived. Another table left without theirs.
A colleague's laundry was lost - finally turning up 2 months later - with an extra bill for said laundry arriving a month or so after that. Not impressive.

I have girlfriends in different parts of the world and we chose the Metropolitan to meet for a week-end in Paris. Perfect place to stay! The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly, the location truly fantastic and so convenient, and the rooms called for room service Champagne :-)

We spent more time at the hotel than in Paris, which serves to show how much fun we had there :-) Our rooms had a view of the Eiffel Tower and we all went "oh" og "ah" when it got dark and the lights came on.

The area around the hotel is so beautiful: it is the Paris that we all love and see in the movies, with the majestic buildings, small cafés and restaurants, many shops, and at the same time a quiet atmosphere in a very safe area.

The hotel has a little pool and a nice hammam (steam bath), but you have to hope that no one else will be there, since there isn't much room to swim and there are only a few deck chairs to relax on.

I can't wait to go there again! I hear they have a sister hotel right next door, the Dokhan's, with a Champagne bar in rococo style. Oh my...

Room Tip: Most corner rooms have an Eiffel Tower view: ask before you book! The most famous room is the 611 on...

I stayed here for a business trip and the location was great. A friendly bellman was extremely helpful in providing good recommendations- this is unheard of at bigger hotels. The downside--although I expected a small room, it exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was so small that I had to open the shower door to dry my hair. There's no room to store a suitcase- a small roller bag can fit into a corner. If you plan to work from the room, there is no functioning desk but a small ledge and stool. I think this hotel may be best for 1-2 people without a lot of luggage and with no plans to work in the room.

Just back from an amazing 3 day weekend in Paris, I booked the Eiffel Suite in the Radisson Blu Le Metropolitan (Room 611). I am not sure that the pictures on the website do the room justice, it is amazing. The service at the hotel was excellent, the concierge was on hand for anything you needed and were so helpful/friendly. Food was excellent, bed was comfy and hotel was very clean.

Room Tip: Book room 611 if it is any sort of special occasion
