Arrived prior to the 2pm check in and were allowed into our room earlier which pleased us, hotel is around 20 mins walk from the Eiffel tower; plently of bars/resaurants about. Few shops nearby.
Room was lovely, just like the pictures, was an average size for two people for a couple of nights; what do you expect!
Loved the shower and lighting effects.
The people on here with negative reviews know what they booked and honestly there isn't anything to be whinging about!
Small cute boutique hotel with friendly, helpful and accomodating staff.
As mentioned the railway line is outside this can be viewed as a postive for close transport or negative for fussy travellers. I just loved overlooking the eiffel tower.
Probably best for induvidual travellers or couples especiallly.
Travelled as a couple begining Nov.

Room Tip: high floor for view of Eiffel tower!

We LOVED staying at Hotel sublim Eiffel. The neighborhood was safe & clean. Very conviently located to Metro. Ahmed was AMAZING!! He showed us how to easily navigate the metro to all the prime Paris locations. If you go out the hotel and turn right at the next block there are grocery stores, bakeys, cafes & a Fabulous local restaurant. (Also a laundry mat) I read the reivews prior to booking and was worried however the little issues (floor does get wet if you do not use shower properly) was nothing compared to looking out my window and seeing the Eiffel tower. LOVELY!!!

Room Tip: Request a room on the 6th floor to see the eiffel tower

Arrived about 1pm which was 1 hour before check in and was asked to come back. I returned at 2.30 and room was still not ready. Poor start. The hotel looks like a brothel. The reception was quite tatty with an unpleasant looking breakfast room.

Our room overlooked the Montparness railway line but if you stood on the balcony the Eiffel Tower was visible. Had to ask the cleaner twice to move the hoover so that I could get to the tiny lift.

The shower was fantastic. The best thing about the hotel. The "Bathroom" was purple plastic box which was too small for me to dry my hair in.

There is a good steam room in the basement but everywhere was so dark you couldn't see where you were going.

I would definitely not stay here again.

It was nice and cute hotel. Service and bed was good.
Unique carpet design which is the paris map is very special.
However, the room light color is wee bit strange if you want to nomal light, and also mirrors are everywhere.
I think this is very good hotel for romantic couple, but not good for the nomal traveler nor business men.

We stopped here for a weekend with family relations and were very pleased with the accomodation. The room style is very quirky , nice, comfortable and clean , the showers are fantastic !. which more than make up for the size of the room, there is a safe and fridge in the room but no tea and coffee faclities It is very handy for the metro station (directly over the road) so getting about was very easy, armed with our metro passes and as it is also next to a main road we were a little bit worried about noise but it was not a problem and we were not disturbed at night. The staff are very helpful and friendly and to hand if you needed anyone. The breakfast price was 14 euro's but we went to the cafe bar on the corner (Less than 30 seconds walk) where they do a good continental breakfast for 7.5euro's.
We enjoyed our stay here and as we were out exploring the sights most of the day it was nice to come back to a hotel room so different from the normal you get which added to the Paris experience. All in all it is a nice place to stay if you want something different or a change from the regular city break hotels

This hotel is definitely a bit 'Amsterdam' but in a good way. Each room has a lighting scheme so you're either in a fuschia, blue or a green room. We stayed in 602 which was a very good size, had a mini balcony with a view of the Eiffel tower and an amazing bathroom. 601 (where a friend stayed) might have had a better configuration, the same view and an equally great bathroom. If you're not on the 6th floor, you don't get the view. So ask for the right room! We booked through an online travel agent and managed to get a better deal than we would have had we booked directly, so perhaps the hotel should look into offering better direct rates for potential guests. Others have said that the rooms are small, but I am here to tell you that for Paris, these are perfectly respectable room sizes. The location is good - we spent a day strolling around and went from the hotel, to the Eiffel tower, over to Les Tuileries, up the Champs Elysee and to the Arc de Triomphe and walked all the way back again, within 3 hours (we took our time too). Transport is great with the metro across the street and Pasteurs (on the very convenient 12/green line) just five minutes away. Most of the guys on the front desk are great, very friendly, happy to call taxis and help and all speak quite good English. One gentleman however was particularly surly (and I speak fluent French, so it wasn't that), which I couldn't understand considering the other staff were so nice. Wifi is free, but not particularly fast. Breakfast, at 14 euro, isn't cheap. But then again, it's Paris. I would recommend the hotel, so long as you can get the best value rate.

Room Tip: 6th floor rooms are the best. 602 or 601.

It was our second trip to Paris and it was even better this time because we celebrated my birthday in this amazing city of lights. We booked our hotel in short 2 days notice while we were vacationing in Brussels at my brother's house. I was first looking for a very Parisian hotel with outdoor garden dining but my first choice was fully booked. Sublim seems to be a nice hotel for couples as advertised. We were not disappointed. The room is clean, bed and linens smells good, love the decor, glass walled bathroom (definitely not family hotel.) The only downside is no soap or shampoo holder. Toilet room is separate. Free wi-fi. The elevator is only good for 2-3 people without your suitcases, not good if you are over 200 lbs. You may have to take the stairs. Don't worry, you'll love the staircase. Little things did not bother me. We were there to enjoy and not to complain. What made me excited was to see the Eiffel Tower from our balcony! I was so happy to see it again. Took pictures right away! First thing I did in the morning was to look at the Eiffel Tower and the last thing at night when it was lighted until they turn it off at midnight. We slept comfortably. The metro across the building did not bother me. It is actually very convenient. When we first got off the train, we thought we need to catch a cab to our hotel. We were so happy to find it just outside the station. From the hotel it is about 15 minutes walk to the Eifell tower. There are many shops, cafes, restaurants along the way. It's about 10 euros on a taxi coming back when we were so tired after a long day touring the city. We had a great time and it was one of my best birthday not only with my husband and myself, our son and his girlfriend also joined us because they were also in Paris that time. We were all surprised that our hotels was about 5 buildings away from each other on the same street. We booked our hotels separately and did not plan accordingly, so were all so happy They love our hotel better than theirs, so they would come and hang out with us at night before heading back to theirs. We would definitely recommend Sublim Eiffel and would love to stay there again. The staff were really nice too. Very good service. We missed Paris already!

Room Tip: Select a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower if you don't mind the noise from the metro train j...
