Hotel Sublim Eiffel
Ranked #995 of 1,803 Hotels in Paris

The one upside of this hotel is the location (literally right next to) the Sevres-Lecourbe metro station. Just 4 stops away from the Eiffel Tower. And no, you can't see the Eiffel Tower from the hotel as stated in some descriptions of the hotel on other sites.

Though the rooms are small, that is the usual in Paris. But the room is a bit run down. Many of the fixtures are loose. And like some of the other reviews, the rooms are set up awkwardly, i.e., you need to open up the bathroom door to get into the shower.

Overall a fair experience.

My fiancé and I planned a short break to Paris and opted to stay at the Sublim due to its modern decor and trendy lighting. The hotel and its room are very individual in there appearance. Some of the decor / fittings within the room showed signs of age / usage, some were also a little impractical, like a bathroom sink that didn't drain and was shallower than a bird bath.

The hotel is situated near the metro and close to a relatively busy road junction which did affect the quality of our sleep as the locals weren't shy with their horns all hours of the day.

The staff during the day were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us; however they had some strange thing about wanting to charge everything to our room. The breakfast buffet was very pricy, €14 per person for a few croissants and cereal was too steep for us.

The bar doesn't really ever get busy which is most probably due to the ridiculous prices they charge, we paid near enough €50 for two brandy’s and a diet coke. Also the evening staff are "too busy" to serve.

one or two issues:
the room was pretty cool looking but it was a little tired on closer inspection. still confused how one of the bars directly above the bed got broken :)
the room was very small, but everything was there and what else do you expect for the price in Paris

pretty good location, nice staff, good value for money and it you are on the higher floors the view is pretty decent

I arrived at the Sublim Eiffel (excellently located opposite a central Paris Metro Station) with a pre conceived idea that because it was so extremely interior designed that the staff may be a little sniffy. Also I had decided there was no way we'd end up in a bedroom like the one on the website, or have a view of the tower itself. I was wrong on all fronts; what a surprising, friendly place it was. Traditionally French with window balconies on the outside. Like a nightclub on the inside, but in an elegant way. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. There is a small Turkish bath in the basement so bring some swimwear if you enjoy a steam. My only words of advice are: bring a travel kettle and some instant, there is none in the room, also the lift is very traditional, some may find it a little disconcerting. Certainly the lift itself is tiny and not wheelchair accessible. Finally, don't stay at this hotel if you can't get by in the dark. The public areas including the staircase are very dimly lit - all part of the design which makes this boutique so unique.

Upon arrival from a long train ride from germany I was greeted with a smile and good service. They spoke English, so I didn't feel like a fool trying to speak my broken French. I arrived in my room, which was bright pink and black. The toilet was in a VERY small closet but since I was alone and small it was fine. The shower was wonderful with ambient lighting and shower heads jutting out in all directions. I used the free wi-fi which worked great and was able to skype with my family and show them the Eiffel tower through my window. The train is right across the street (which was also out my window) but it wasn't loud. Super convenient to all the tourist attractions. There is a very cute bakery around the corner, with delicious authentic French pastries. They don't speak any english so I had no idea what I was about to eat but my fault of course for not speaking French in France! I'd stay here again for sure.

Sadly the hotel wasent as great as we expected it to be.It was our first trip to Paris and we were so excited to be staying at the Sublim Eiffel as it looked quirky and fun but it didnt turn out to be that way.We arrived at midnight exhausted from our long flight to Paris from Australia and found that the young man sitting behind the desk who checked us in was quite rude and lacked manners. The lift wasent working so we had to climb 3 flights of stairs with all our luggage to get to our room,i didnt mind all that much but it would have been nice if he had of offered to help us or even get up from his seat to show us where to go so i feel that the hotel adverisment saying there is a concierge is false. The room itself was small but ok but our stay at this hotel was tainted by this rude man who treated us like we were a hassle rather than guests. Will not be returning to this hotel and will not recommend it to anyone. When i pay good money for a hotel i expect good service and i definatly didint recieve it here.

This place is close to the Eiffel tower, in fact we had quite a nice view of it from our room. We had a fuchsia classic room on the fifth floor that was really funky and romantic. The bathroom is all glass and had 8 different shower nozzles coming at you at all different angles.

The receptionist was super nice, spoke fluent English and was really helpful. The hotel is literally 10meters from the sevres lecourbe metro station which is on line 6. The hotel itself doesn't have parking, but there is public parking available that is less then two blocks away for ~16 euro/day.

We stayed only two nights, but this hotel made it super easy to go and see a lot in a short amount of time.
