A well situated apartment with many local amenities and easy reach of Metros and buses to explore Paris. Didier was very helpful in explaining how to find it, and was there to greet us and available if we needed to contact him. The apartment is situated to the back of the building so was quiet and away from any noise from traffic.
The apartment could do with decluttering which would make it easier for guests to live in and Didier to clean. Didier likes to fill the apartment with things to make it homely but we would have preferred it emptier of old or broken knick knacks (antique or retro). The marketing photo shows a clear bedside table with a working lamp. There was no working lamp but the table was full of stuff. Other that that, the apartment worked well for us. With a bit more work I would be willing to recommend this, but not yet.
This is a quiet apartment, with a great location which is in a residential area with a grocery store across the street and specialty shops of every type located within 2 blocks. It’s a short walk to 3 metro lines and numerous bus lines. The owner is very nice and was extremely helpful- not only did he explain the history of the apartment, he gave a great orientation to the neighborhood as well, and he checked in several times to see if I had questions. The apartment overlooks a very large garden courtyard and there is no street noise. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is comfortable, and you get to “live like a local” when you stay here. I would definitely stay here again.
Typical house, very silly, comfortable, with many (perhaps too many) things of the owner that make it welcoming. Nothing is missing even in the kitchen. It is in a good area, with many supermarkets (one well-stocked right in front), restaurants, brasseries and three metro stops useful for the center. The center (eg Louvre) can also be reached on foot. The owner Didier is very helpful, punctual and kind. We have been really good and if we have the possibility we will keep it in mind for the future.
Very happy with our stay here, the apartment is in a great area and close to a lot of the sights - we either walked or got the Vélib bikes everywhere. Didier was really helpful and gave great tips and orientation. The apartment itself could do with a paint, but very clean and well equipped with washing machine, coffee machine and some essentials like coffee, oil, washing powder etc. There's a great cafe/bistro on the next corner, and a supermarket across the road.
