Cute little place, just what you'd expect a little place near Monmartre to be. Simple food, but tasty and a good house wine.
Probably a bit cramped if full. Friendly staff.
We'd definitely go again.

I don' t know if it was only because it was late in the evening but the staff was absolutely not up to the task.
I asked if they spoke English and despite the answer was " A little" they kept speaking in french.
In the end they took our order wrong even if we pointed the food on the menu.
The waitress/owner pretended to be sorry for the misunderstanding but it was clear she didn't care in the least.
They didn' t have Perrier and brought me some depressing half sparkling water.
The food quality was poor. I made the mistake to order some smoked salmon and it was sinewy and more salty than tasty.
They even brought us very little bread.

The onion soup was very mild and to watery.
The cassoulet they brought ( and that I didn' t order) has beans not properly cooked in it and scarce quality greasy meat.
they even botched the cremè bruleè! It has some water at the bottom and the caramel was deeply burned.

The restaurent itself is nice and cosy and at least the price was low.

Definitely worth stopping by on your way to or from Sacre Coeur. If you do nothing else, pop in and have the onion soup.

Delicious food worth every cent in a cosy French restaurant. Don't miss it.

Recommended in the guidebook and did not disappoint. Classic French standards -- lemon sole, beef bourguinon, cassoulet, escargots

Reasonable set price lunch menu.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our final day in Paris. We chose the cheapest fixed-price menu, 12.90 euros for 3 courses. The food was good, honest and simply done. Washed down with a decent bottle of red for 14 euros I would say it was very good value. Great french onion soup, lovely herring starter and nice bread. We would definitely recommend.
