““Read the Reviews - Book and Enjoy””
Reviewed March 6, 2013

Location:
Easy to find on main road in district 15 which does not have many recommended bistro’s

Atmosphere:
Small cosy bistro room style with sofa and small tables side by side. Small number of outside tables available weather permitting.

Food:
We visited for a weekday lunch and sampled two main courses. The lamb shank with mash and veal osso bucco with tagliatelli were both excellent.

Service:
In addition to the food served service is where this restaurant comes into its own.
The chef Ridiah, makes himself available to discuss the menu choices and then returns at an convenient time to chat, if you wish. Here is a man who cares about his business and is totally customer focused. He is running a successful location and deserves his success.

Value:
Our two main courses together with a soft drink and a very good carafe of wine came to Euros 54 and was well worth it. They also do a set priced lunch special menu.

Summary:
Booked again to go for dinner this Saturday. Looking forward to submitting a further review.

“WOW!!!”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

The best meal we have had in Paris. We were beginning to give up on "French" cuisine until we found Le Morgane. All aspects of this restaraunt were/are OUTSTANDING. Food, Service, Neighborhood ambience, etc. When (not if) you go there and the veal stew (blanquette de veau) is on the menu, order it - it was awesome - to the last drop of sauce. The lamb shank (jarret d'agneau) was also memorable. The service (Françoise) was outstanding - timely, efficient and most pleasant. The chef was always about - checking on the "happiness" of his patrons - when not in the kitchen performing his magic. He even gave us directions on how to get home. Reserve early.

“Continued high standards over several years”
Reviewed July 6, 2012

This week we visited Le Morgane for the third or fourth time, fully expecting that it would be an excellent experience, having had a meal there virtually every year for the last three or four years on our annual visit to Paris. We were not disappointed. Food quality, variety and price, and friendly service were as good as ever. This year having eaten in several restaurants in France this was undoubtedly the best and value for money. The small size of the establishment promotes a family style atmosphere, and the blingual (Fr/Eng) French chef, who has also worked in the UK and USA leaves nothing to chance. Fully recommended, particularly for small groups. (Closed on Sundays).
