This cooking experience was recommended by a previous participant and we are so happy
to have done this. Marie and her assistant were a delight and it was such fun to shop and
then go back to her apartment for preparation and instruction. What a delightful time to
share the food we cooked, a glass of wine and meet new friends.

We live in China and this was really an interesting experience.
We learned a lot during the workshop not only about refined cooking but also about french life style. Marie is a very nice and talented teacher. We now feel much more confident about buying the right ingredients and cooking great meals for our friends.
We recommand this original way to get the French/Paris flavor.

This was the highlight of our 14 day trip in Europe. My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous experience on May 3rd with Marie. She met us at the metro and took us to a nearby market. She explained the importance of fresh food and helped us pick a menu of items that were in season. Once we had all the ingredients, we went to her wonderful apartment to prepare the meal. She led us through the whole process and made the cooking seem very simple. The result was delicious. Marie is a gracious hostess made us feel comfortable throughout the process of gathering the ingredients and cooking the meal.

We had booked with Marie, but unfortunately she had to attend a funeral and Perrine was our instructor. What a wonderful experience. Perrine was very helpful with my 13 year old granddaughter and me. Her apartment and facilities were excellent. We had a marvelous time and would recommend A World in A Pan with Pperrine!

My wife and I have visited Paris many times and wanted to DO something new. We both enjoy food, cook at home and for friends that visit. We found a fantastic way to learn a lot more about cooking in a short time.
All preparations were easy, Marie communication well by e-mail - meet at a given metro exit at a given time.
Next we had to discuss the menu - then off to the Fromagerie (cheeseshop), then to the fishstand at the Market, vegetables, eggs, bread, etc all in due course. Marie's English and ability to explain was great. Next we went to her kitchen and started the work, intermingling work with coffee, small tastings of the ingredients and a lively discussion about food, family, life and much else.
The lunch was superb and we were joined by her husband which further stimulated the discussion.
We were the only 2 that day, and how we managed to be the first Finns is a surprise to me!
