The hostel is great, it has a beautifull view, you can see the canal and the Seine river, the architecture is nice and modern. I stayed there for 4 days, my friend and I booked the mixed dorm with ten beds. When we arrived the receptionist told us that we have to stay the first 2 days in room 404 and then we had to move to another room on the 5th floor, so in the second day we left the room, put our luggage in receptionist area, and later moved to the other room!!!!! Inside the room I didn´t get a connection to the internet, so I had to bring my laptop to the lobby room (freee high speed internet). The rooms are comfortable and clean; the sheets, pillow and bedspread are white, also the bedspread has goose feather. They had a sink and mirrors. The beds have curtains and have an individual light . Each room and passage has heater. The hostel has 4 bathrooms for each floor: 2 individual bathrooms (sink, wc and shower) located on the middle, female and male bathrooms located at each end of corridor. The individual bathroom smells. The lockers beneath the bed are useful, so bring a large padlock, but has a terrible noise. The breakfast was regular; you can get milk, coffee, orange juice, bread (baguette), butter or jam. If you are hungry you can go to a bakery (boulangerie), that is very close from the hostel, and buy a delicious sandwich, croisant and tasty pastries!!
There are two metro stations (Crimee and Laumiere), Laumiere is 5 minutes away and Crimee 2 minutes.
If you want to go the center (main tourist attraction, for example Louvre museum, Eifell tower, champ elysees) is 45 minutes by metro.
The staff is very friendly, they gave you great advices and tourist information guide. Also you can meet a lot of people there, specially if you go to the bar (Belushi), it was opened until 2 pm and gave a special offer in drinks.

I stayed at the hostel for 4 nights and I really liked it. It was clean, the beds were all right. Just the lockers beneath the beds were noisy when opened which was a bit annoying at night and in the morning. On the floor where I stayed (girls only) where two rooms with showers and toilets at each end of the long corridor.
The breakfast wasn't great but did the job (baguette with jams and butter, cereal) even though you might have to wait for a minute or two to get a knife, plate or cereal bowl. There are no kitchens, so be aware that there are no refrigerators to store food if you take some to your room.
The metro station is not far and it doesn't take long to get to the city center.
I really liked that there are free walking tours are offered (not directly by the hostel but the guide picks you up at 10 o'clock).
Since it is a big hostel you will certainly meet people from around the world there, either at the bar downstairs (which is quite pricey I felt), the chill out room or club in the basement where they have parties (e.g. karaoke on Wednesdays).
The use of the Internet is quite expensive if you use the terminals downstairs (1€ for 15, 2€ for 30, and 3€ for 60 minutes).

First off, this is a very nice hostel. The rooms are comfy, the staff is pretty helpful, and its quite clean. The showers are those kind that you have to press the button every 30 seconds which was irritating, but that shouldnt really matter. I was in a room with girls who all went to be at 8pm and woke up at 6 or 7am so I did get good sleep, it may vary for other people.

The Wifi in here sucks! At least in the rooms. In the evening the hallways and stairwells were lined with people trying to get good wifi connections.

The one thing that sucked about this hostel is the location. It took at least 45 minutes to get in to the city via the metro. And the metro was ALWAYS full so at the end of a long day of sightseeing when your feet are killing you, it sucked to have to stand for 45 minutes.

I dont think I would stay here again, just for the fact that it is sooo far from everything I wanted to see. I'd probably splurge on a more expensive hostel, or maybe even a hotel next time I am in Paris.

I stayed on the women's floor for 5 days back in December. As a solo traveler, this was the perfect hostel. It's new so the facilities are clean, there's free wifi downstairs (and a pretty good hangout room that stays busy), and it's close to the metro so you can get to the sites pretty easily. It's a bit pricey for a hostel, but get used to it, so are a lot of things in Paris!

The shared rooms come with cage lockers under the beds (bring a padlock, or you can buy one at the desk), which is incredibly convenient but also not very easy on the ears. There are also reading lights in each bunk and privacy curtains. The pillow and blanket are respectable, too.

I only managed to get the free breakfast once, but it did the trick. Then again, you're in Paris, skip the free breakfast and pick up something amazing at a bakery.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hostel for 4 nights. Our room was clean, the staff was very friendly and the internet cafe was easily accessible.
It was a bit tricky to find the hostel coming straight from the Eurostar, but it wasn't too far from any metro station.
The restaurant was overpriced, but a good place to have a nightcap.
Although we were booked as a couple, the hostel placed us on the ladies only floor. That meant that my boyfriend has to go down 2 floors to use the bathroom- quite inconvenient.
Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and would most likely stay again.
