We were thrilled with the views from the windows of this wonderfully located apartment. It is facing the Luxembourg Gardens and, at night, we could hear the water bubbling in one of the fountains and admire the illuminated Eiffel Tower in the distance!
Martial, the property manager, had another appointment so was not able to be in the apartment upon our arrival. However, he kindly left us chocolates, juice and water. The apartment is lovely and spacious. The master bed is very comfortable. The other two beds are a little less so... the sofa bed, as is the case with most, is not comfortable. There is a bed (more comfortable) on a mezzanine, which requires climbing a steep, narrow ladder. As a middle-aged, decently in-shape person, this was not a huge problem. It would not be good for elderly people nor for young children, as there is not a high enough guard rail around the bed. Clean sheets had been requested for this bed prior to our stay and they arrived on the third day. Making the bed was a bit tricky but no big deal. The main bathroom is spacious, with a lovely tub. The shower's hot water was not functioning. Also, the water drains onto the bathroom floor outside the stall when you open the door to get out. This could be remedied, I think, by installing extra molding inside the shower door to prevent the water from escaping.
Again, the apartment itself is lovely and the neighborhood is filled with restaurants and cafés - a delightful area! Martial seemed very nice on the phone and in his email correspondance.
