When in Paris I go to this lovely little restaurant almost each day at some time whether lunch or evening dinner. The food is really excellent, is very French and the clients there are mainly French so a good sign. I am a foodie, tour operator and write guides on Paris and this is a great place and not too expensive!

We spent Thanksgiving here this year, and it was truly something to be thankful for!

The family and I hiked to the restaurant from Place Vendome, but the warm welcome and fabulous food was worth the walk...we were rewarded with one of the best meals we had in Paris. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly, the food was generous, delicious and reasonable, and the food...did I mention the food?

I had the duck breast (perfectly cooked and sauced,)and around the table the others enjoyed an incredible duck "shepherd's pie," an awesome filet de boeuf en croute (huge & spectacular,) to name several standouts. We shared the escargots and foie gras ravioli for starters, and never missed turkey for a minute!

Top it off with a great wine list, and our evening was complete. Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere, service, wine and food. Strongly recommend the foie gras carpaccio - basically the real (raw) version of the dish. Very delicate and delicious.
Loved this place.

We had some of Paris's best duck pâté here! Buttery velvet!!
We read a review about this restaurant in Conde Nast Traveler. The man who wrote the review glorified the cassoulet. He was right! The cassoulet here was a 10! It was a sumptuous and satin unity of duck prepared several ways and beans.
We sat outside. The street was not overly busy. The service was terrific. Not at all pricy. The little shop has pâtés to go as well as many other delicious specialities.
I would highly recommend a stop here.

What a great little restaurant, the meals were equisite and wine wonderful. Special mention to the onion soup, it was spectacular! We regret not having the chance to dine there again in September, though we will return when next in Paris!

Note to book in advance (or come early), as the space is small, and more than half a dozen parties were turned away on the "quiet" weekday night that we were here.
