We went for a steak dinner as that's what we fancied. Easy place to find sat on a roundabout. We arrived at 8pm and didn't find it difficult to get a table. Many locals were sat outside smoking so we sat in. Waitress was keen to speak English and assisted with the wine choice which was grand. The steak was grilled and tasty but a little fatty for my liking. The frites were also great. Salad bowl was included. We ended up paying 51euros for the two meals, 1/4rouge wine, cola and large Evian. Not too bad. Then we had a stroll over to the bridge across the road for a great view of the statue of liberty, Paris skyline and eiffel tower.

We ate here the night we arrived in Paris because we were staying in the Mercure down the street. We were very apprehensive because we don't speak French and didn't know what to expect because it was our first night in. We got excellent service and pretty good food. I had the risotto and he had steak. Our server didn't speak much english but we were able to communicate enough and we recieved excellent service. We were also surprised at how affordable it was; it was one of our cheapeast meals. We almost liked this place better than the 58 tour eiffel
I liked that it had a bunch of locals in there and it was a little off the main touristy path. The atmosphere was nice also, it was dark and romantic. It's probably a good place for couple at night, not kids.

Was here for dinner: nice background music, nice locals eating/drinking out.
The food was ok, I had a kind of tartiflette which was ok enough, a good glass of wine and a supergood dessert (panna cotta with white chocolate). Very cheap I spent just around 20eur. Service could have been better, they were a bit forgetting me and the other tables while the place was half empty on the dining side. They have also tables outside with those heating lamps for the smokers. I went back for lunch but they were packed, with a queue of people waiting to be seated so I gave up immediately.
